A SUCCESSFUL RIGHTS LITERACY SESSION
Thank you so much to the Xavier University Center for Legal Assistance (XUCLA) for giving our student leaders this wonderful opportunity to learn more about Republic Act No. 11313, also known as the Safe Spaces Act.
During the session, our student leaders actively engaged with the discussions, gaining a clearer understanding of how the law protects everyone regardless of genderβin public, online, and educational spaces. Seeing them analyze real-world scenarios and realize that they have the voice, the agency, and the legal backing to stand up against harassment was incredibly empowering.
By training our student leaders, we are not just educating individuals; we are empowering a frontline of advocates who can foster an environment of safety, consent, and respect among their peers. They are now better equipped to champion these rights within our school community.
Equipping our students with knowledge about their rights, personal boundaries, and the legal frameworks that protect them is essential to building a safer, more respectful community. We are deeply grateful for your time, expertise, and dedication to grassroots legal education!
