皆さん、おめでとうございます！

Congratulations to the first batch of SPFL Nihongo learners who completed the Junior High School journey--the pioneer Nihongojin batch. Thank you for bearing with our lessons despite this global pandemic. We tried our very best but there were circumstances which were beyond of our control. Still, you guys were very diligent and focused in coming to classes during the limited face-to-face more so on the modular learning. Bisan gamay nalang nabilin padayon lang gihapon mo. What a great manifestation of eagerness and tenacity! Thank you for withstanding these challenges and difficulties where others have surrendered.

Being the first batch of SPFL Nihongo learners-completers, I hope you enjoyed our lessons, the pictures, realias, the songs and the dances in our classes for the past four years. I hope you will remember the lessons in your own way and apply them when the time comes and the need arises. Continue learning the Japanese language as well as the culture. And do not forget the end goal: TO GO TO JAPAN AND HAVE THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!

Gear up for face-to-face classes, dear students!

Talakag National High School in partnership with Japan Foundation Manila will open its slot to forty (40) incoming Grade 7 students to be part of the Special Program in Foreign Language Nihongo class this coming S.Y. 2022-2023. Early registration is now going on!

The SPFL Nihongo program aims to enhance the ability of the learners to engage in meaningful interaction in a linguistically and culturally diverse environment.

Talakag NHS is the only school in Bukidnon and is one among the two pioneering schools in Region 10 to offer SPFL Nihongo.

🎋Here are the QUALIFICATIONS:

✅Must be an bonafide student of Talakag National High School- Incoming Grade 7

✅Must have a FINAL AVERAGE GRADE of 85
(For Incoming Grade 7: Grade 6 Report Card)

✅Must have a FINAL GRADE OF 85 in both Filipino and English subjects (For Incoming Grade 7: Grade 6 Report Card)

✅Must have a good moral character

🎋 These are the list of REQUIREMENTS:

✅Good moral certificate (Photocopy)
✅PSA/NSO/Local Birth Certificate (Photocopy)
✅Elementary Form 137/School Form 10 (to follow)
✅Progress Report Card/School Form 9 (Photocopy)
✅Letter of Intent of Parent/Guardian

🎋SCREENING PROCESS:

✅All qualified students must undergo a scheduled qualifying examination (written and interview)
✅The students will be ranked based on the result of their qualifying examination.
✅The TOP 40 students will be on the PRIORITY LIST and must submit the necessary requirements.
