More than a date in history, June 12 is a reminder of the bravery that echoed through generations and the freedom that continues to shape our future. Today, we honor the heroes who dared to dream of an independent nation and the countless Filipinos who continue to uphold the values of courage, unity, and patriotism.

As we celebrate the 128𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻, may we remember that freedom is not only inherited—it is protected, nurtured, and lived every day through our actions, choices, and love for our country.

The torch of liberty now rests in our hands. May we carry it with pride, purpose, and responsibility.

🕊️ 𝑰𝑵 𝑴𝑬𝑴𝑶𝑹𝑰𝑨𝑴: 𝑹𝑬𝑵𝑬 𝑪𝑳𝑬𝑹𝑻 “𝑩𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒕” 𝑩𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑩𝑶𝑵𝑰𝑨

The entire Talacogon National High School community is deeply saddened and shocked by the sudden passing of one of our most brilliant former students and athletes, Rene Clert Baterbonia.

Before he became a household name on the national hardcourt, Rene Clert was our pride—a dedicated student, a fierce competitor, and an inspiration to his fellow students. His journey from the courts of TNHS to the grand stages of Philippine sports was nothing short of legendary.

More than the championship trophies, the MVP titles, and the athletic accolades, Rene Clert will be remembered for his humility, his burning passion, and the immense pride he brought to Talacogon. He proved that no matter how small the town, dreams can grow big enough to conquer the national stage.
