The energy at Miko’s Brew today was truly inspiring as the 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙁𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙨 officially kicked off. On March 5, 2026, this gathering represented more than just a formal meeting; it was a vibrant assembly of the brightest young minds and their mentors, all focused on reshaping the future of student governance.

Guided by 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙀𝙙 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 No. 12, s. 2025, the event brought together the brightest young minds and their mentors to reshape the future of student governance for SY 2026-2027. Among the sea of motivated faces were our very own 𝙀𝙣𝙯𝙤 𝙅𝙖𝙝𝙢𝙞𝙧 𝘽. 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖 (Incoming SELG President) and 𝙅𝙤𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙍. 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤 (Incoming SELG Vice-President).

​This two-day activity is more than just a formal re-organization, it serves as a vital bootcamp for servant leadership. From policy-making discussions to collaborative workshops, these officers are learning that leadership is a responsibility that begins long before the first school bell rings in June.

​"Being here isn't just about winning a position, it’s about preparing ourselves to be the voice of our fellow students and making sure that every learner feels heard and supported in the coming school year," shared Enzo.

​With the guidance of their Adviser, our SELG team is proving that the future of our school is in very capable hands. We look forward to seeing these lessons turn into community-building actions back on campus.

Today, the SELG and YES-O officers of MPIES came together to lead a school clean-up drive as we proudly open our campus as a billeting quarter for delegates from Davao del Sur. While athletes compete and showcase their talents, our student leaders show their own strength through teamwork, responsibility, and love for the environment.

With brooms in hand and hearts ready to serve, they ensured that every classroom, hallway, and corner of our school reflects the warmth and hospitality of MPIES. Their actions prove that leadership is not just about positions, it’s about initiative, discipline, and setting an example for others.

Clean surroundings, united efforts, and a community working as one. ❤️

𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

There’s a special kind of energy in the air when a team comes together for a common purpose. This morning, our 𝑴𝑷𝑰𝑬𝑺-𝑺𝑬𝑳𝑮 and 𝒀𝑬𝑺-𝑶 officers turned that energy into action.

Recognizing the importance of 𝑴𝑷𝑰𝑬𝑺 serving as the billeting quarter for our delegates from 𝑫𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒍 𝑺𝒖𝒓, the team decided to lead the charge in making sure our school is as clean and welcoming as possible.

From the first sweep of the grounds to the collection of garbage, they worked in unity to ensure our facilities reflect the hospitality of our community. This is what leadership looks like at Imelda—it’s 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔-𝒐𝒏, 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, and 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅 on making things better for others.

To those who weren’t elected this time, remember that your courage to run is a victory in itself; your passion for our school is still needed, and your influence doesn’t require a title to be felt. As 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙙 𝙈𝙘𝙂𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙣 wisely said, "𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣," so continue to lead through your examples and keep striving for excellence!

As the sun sets on this campaign period, we stand at a crossroads. For the past few days, you have heard many voices, many promises, and many visions for our school. But tomorrow, the most important voice is yours—ℑ𝔪𝔢𝔩𝔡𝔦𝔞𝔫𝔰.

Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙮."
