We sincerely thank the City Government of Tagum through the City Health Office and Barangay Madaum for the successful conduct of misting in our school. Your concern and dedication to the health of the community truly bring peace of mind to our students, teachers, and parents.

This initiative is a great help in maintaining cleanliness and safety in our surroundings against mosquito-borne diseases. May programs like this continue to strengthen the partnership between the government and the people toward one common goal—the health and welfare of all.

JTJMNHS shines at Khan Academy Implementers Awards

The Department of Education (DepEd) Davao Region honored outstanding divisions, schools, teachers, and learners for their excellent implementation of Khan Academy Philippines held last May 12-13, 2026 at the Herminigildo Baloyo, MD Hall in Tagum City.

Among the 39 implementing schools in the Tagum City Division, 14 were recognized as outstanding implementers of the program. One of these was Jose Tuason Jr. Memorial National High School, which was commended for its dedication and commitment to promoting innovative teaching and learning strategies.

The successful implementation of the program at JTJMNHS was spearheaded by Secondary School Principal I Ma’am Ellen P. Alferez, together with the school’s Khan Academy focal person Ma’am Edelyn Mae R. Egmedio and the teachers of the Mathematics and Science Department. Guided by their Master Teachers, Ma’am Emery E. Aquino and Ma’am Lulu Belle Y. Foronda, their collaborative leadership significantly strengthened digital learning initiatives among both teachers and students.

DepEd Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo emphasized the importance of Khan Academy in reinforcing quality education and commended schools for embracing transformative learning approaches.

Together with the whole school community, JTJMNHS will continue its support to a more successful implementation of the program for the coming academic years.

Brigada Eskwela 2026: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman

The Jose Tuason Jr. Memorial National High School proudly announces the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2026 from June 1–5, 2026. This annual initiative embodies the spirit of Bayanihan sa Paaralan, where parents, learners, teachers, and community members unite to prepare our schools for the upcoming academic year.

Keep in touch for enrollment updates for incoming Grades 7–12 and transferee learners. Please accomplish the required documents and follow the enrollment procedures, including registration, reading assessments, and school ID validation.

We encourage all stakeholders to render volunteer services as part of the Brigada Eskwela activities. Certificates of participation will be issued to recognize active involvement.

Together, let us strengthen our schools and ensure quality education for every Filipino learner.

Interested applicants are encouraged to carefully review the published materials (PubMat) for complete details on the program guidelines, eligibility requirements, and qualifications.
