On August 21, 2026, BSEd-English 4th-year students of UM Tagum College successfully completed the Competency Appraisal (CA) Pre-Test, covering General Education (GenEd) and Professional Education (ProfEd).

The assessment served as an initial gauge of their knowledge and readiness as they continue preparing for the Competency Appraisal.

The Campus Tour 2026 welcomed first-year and transferee students from the Department of Teacher Education (DTE) on August 12, 2026, marking the beginning of their journey in a new academic environment and community at UM Tagum College.

The event began with a brief orientation at the gymnasium, where the students were welcomed and introduced to members of the faculty and student officers. They were also given an overview of the department and what to expect as they begin their college journey.

This was followed by a campus tour, as the students were guided through different facilities and spaces within the campus. Along the way, they had the opportunity to interact with fellow students, faculty, and student officers while getting to know the environment they will soon call their own.

More than a walk around campus, the tour gave the students an early sense of familiarity with the spaces and people that will become part of their college experience.

Well, well, wellโ€ฆ look whoโ€™s back. ๐Ÿ‘€

Spottted at UM Tagum College: the students are back, the booths are up, and apparently, nobody came to campus just to sit quietly in class.

From one booth to another, students found different ways to join the celebration, with activities, games, performances, and plenty of moments worth capturing. Each booth had its own way of welcoming both familiar and new faces, making the campus feel alive once again.

The L2 Society also had its own little corner of the celebration, welcoming BSEd English students through various activities prepared by the L2 officers. With laughter, interactions, and a few moments worth remembering, today was definitely one way to kick off A.Y. 2026-2027. ๐Ÿ’™
