𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐁𝐏𝐄 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 – 𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 held on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at 𝗣𝗕 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 became a meaningful and valuable learning experience for the BPE 223 students. The seminar provided knowledge and practical skills in CPR, first aid, and proper emergency response, helping us become more aware, prepared, and confident in responding to emergencies.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our speaker, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖. 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼, for sharing your time, knowledge, and experiences that inspired and educated us throughout the activity. We also extend our sincere gratitude to our instructor, 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗗. 𝗧𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘆, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱 for the guidance and support that made this seminar possible.

To the officers and committees, thank you for your hard work, cooperation, and dedication in organizing the event successfully. And to all BPE 223 students, congratulations for your active participation and enthusiasm that made the seminar more engaging and meaningful.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | UMTC-SAMALIKA hosts HANDURAW '26

UM Tagum College–Samahan ng Mag-aaral ng Lipunan at Kasaysayan (UMTC–SAMALIKA) organized the “HANDURAW: The Nexus of Innovation in Learning Exhibit” to encourage students to integrate historical understanding and innovative teaching approaches that make learning more interactive, relevant, and responsive to the needs of today’s learners on May 18, 2026, at AVR 3.

Bearing the theme, “Demonstrating Effective Pedagogy for Quality Social Studies Education through Interactive History Exhibits, Instructional Materials, and Lesson Plans in Action,” the event served as a platform for future educators to demonstrate effective and learner-centered teaching strategies that promote meaningful and engaging Social Studies education.

Moreover, Ira May Apresa, SAMALIKA president, stated that the event was also a proof of the faculty's unwavering dedication to molding effective educators.

"This event stands as a testament to how our faculty molds future Social Studies educators. By focusing on the core pillars of lesson planning, IM development, and classroom management, we are shifting the perception of Araling Panlipunan, proving it is not a boring subject centered on just memorizing dates, but a dynamic discipline that helps students navigate and understand society", Apresa said.

Meanwhile, the event was initiated and participated in by 2nd- and 3rd-year Social Studies students.
