2. Take active participation in their community, church, and professional organizations as socially responsible citizens who embody ethical and professional excellence steeped in the Ignacian Marian education;
3. Be in leadership positions and be recognized as critical and inventive thinkers, who create designs and solutions that are ecological, safe, and sustainable; and
4. Become significant contributors to society as effective collaborators with excellent communication and people skills, competence in Information Technology, and passion for innovation. Graduates of Civil Engineering are expected to be able to:
1. Apply creatively the knowledge of mathematics and science to solve complex civil engineering problems in both conventional and innovative ways;
2. Design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data critically and competently;
3. Design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints, in accordance with standards;
4. Function in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams in a spirit of mutual respect for effective collaborative work;
5. Identify, formulate, and solve complex civil engineering problems systematically and competently;
6. Understand professional and ethical responsibility and respond in accordance to Christian values;
7. Communicate effectively civil engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large;
8. Understand the impact of civil engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal context;
9. Recognize the need for, and engage in life-long learning as witnesses to faith, excellence, and service;
10. Know contemporary issues and act responsibly for the common good;
11. Use appropriate and innovative techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for civil engineering practice;
12. Know and understand engineering and management principles as a member and leader of a team, and to effectively manage projects in a multidisciplinary environment;
13. Understand at least one specialized field of civil engineering practice to be of greater service to the community. The following are the career opportunities of civil engineering graduates:
1. Staff Engineers
3. Inspectors
4. Associate Engineers
5. Engineering Professors
6. Project Consultants
7. Project Supervisors
8. Construction Engineers
9. Construction Supervisors

In line with SMCTI's policies and commitment to promoting discipline, identity, and safety, students are reminded to
To uphold the identity of the Tertiary Education Programs, all students must wear their ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ on ๐ฐ๐๐๐ค๐๐๐ฒ๐ฌ. Civilian attire is permitted only during designated
Additionally, all students are required to wear their ๐จ๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐ at all times. SMCTI strictly implements a "๐๐จ ๐๐, ๐๐จ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ" policy. Students are encouraged to be responsible and ensure they have all necessary items before coming to school.
Adhering to these guidelines fosters an environment of security, academic focus, and respect for the values of the institution.
