After lunch, our learners have their supervised nap and quiet rest time—a gentle pause in their busy day. Some children sleep, while others simply rest or enjoy a good book.

This quiet time gives growing bodies and minds an opportunity to recharge and supports attention, learning, emotional regulation, memory, and overall well-being.

Because sometimes, growing and learning also means knowing when to slow down, rest, and begin again refreshed.

📣 SCHOOL ADVISORY | SEPTEMBER 25, 2026

Dear parents and guardians 🙏

Please be informed that classes at Footprints Christian Learning School are suspended today, September 25, due to the ongoing emergency power interruption affecting several areas of Tagum City.

While our school is located in Brgy. San Miguel, many of our learners, families, and personnel come from the areas included in the power interruption advisory. Considering also the current weather conditions and possible flooding affecting travel in some areas, we have decided to prioritize everyone’s safety and keep our learners and personnel at home today.

We pray for everyone’s safety and for the quick restoration of power. Please take care, Footprints families 🤍 Stay safe and God bless everyone 🙏

Every child has a story. And sometimes, behavior is only the part of that story we can see. 🤍

At Footprints Christian Learning School of Tagum City, we are continually learning not to define a child by his or her most difficult moments. Some children may require more patience, firmer guidance, greater understanding, and much prayer—but they are no less worthy of being seen, heard, taught, and loved.

As teachers, staff, and parents, may we learn to ask not only, “How do we correct this behavior?” but also, “What does this child need from us so he or she can grow?”

We believe discipline and grace can walk together. We set boundaries because we love, we correct because we care, and we keep believing because God has entrusted these children to us. 🌱

May He give our whole school community wisdom to see beyond behavior and help each child become who God created them to be.

🇵🇭 BUWAN NG WIKA 2026 | KULMINASYON 🇵🇭

What a beautiful day to remember 💛

Last Friday, our Footprints CLS and Lyrica Fave's Childcare, Tutorial, and Learning Support Center school family gathered for the culmination of our Buwan ng Wika 2026, with the theme:

“Wikang Filipino: Tulay ng Pagkakaisa, Karunungan, at Pananampalataya.”

More than the colorful costumes, performances, contests, awards, sashes and crowns, this celebration gave our Batang Footprints another opportunity to learn beyond the four walls of the classroom—to appreciate our Filipino language and culture, discover their talents, build confidence, and experience the joy of belonging to a community that celebrates and supports them 🇵🇭

And what made this celebration even more special was the bayanihan of our families 💛

To our dear parents, guardians, grandparents and loved ones, daghang salamat! From preparing our beautiful Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao booths, dressing and supporting our children, helping with their activities, bringing food for our fellowship, and simply being present to cheer them on—your time, effort and love made this celebration possible.

To our Lupon ng mga Hurado, our partners and friends, NCCC Mall Tagum, Rouie Photography, and everyone who shared their time and support with us, maraming salamat po.

To our teachers and staff of Footprints Christian Learning School and Lyrica Fave's Centers—thank you for serving behind the scenes, preparing, teaching, rehearsing, guiding, encouraging, and loving our children through every part of this celebration. 💛

And to every Batang Footprints—congratulations 👏

Whether you received a medal, certificate, award, sash or crown, or simply stood on that stage and gave your very best, we celebrate you. Every opportunity to try, learn, participate and grow is already something worth celebrating.

Our Buwan ng Wika reminds us that being Filipino is more than the language we speak. It is also seen in our faith, family, culture, respect, hospitality, unity and bayanihan.

And as a Christian school, may everything we learn and every gift God has entrusted to us ultimately be used for His glory.

The People’s Choice Award will be determined separately through valid ❤️ HEART reactions and will not be added to or deducted from the judges’ scores.

🔒 For the official judging, the artworks will remain identified by Entry Number only, without the learners' names, to maintain fairness and impartiality during judging.

Only valid ❤️ HEART reactions received until September 3, 2026 at exactly 12:00 NN will be included in the final count. Reactions received after the official voting deadline will no longer be counted.

Congratulations!!!

The Tong-Il Moo-Do Davnor Blazing Tigers from Davao del Norte emerged as overall champions of the 2026 Kadayawan Mindanao Invitational Kickboxing Tournament, bringing home 15 gold medals and three bronzes.

The team topped the standings at the Aug. 15 competition at LPU Davao, with athletes competing in point fighting, kick light and forms. Samal Senior High School student-athletes Bann Ford R. Quilaton and Tom Emmanuel S. Gonzales also brought home gold and silver, respectively.
