More than a presentation of written works, this book launching celebrates the literary voices of emerging young authors and the stories, perspectives, and creative endeavors they bring to contemporary literature.

Beyond the title that comes after one’s name lies a greater responsibility; the responsibility to become someone others can trust, learn from, and grow with.

In this spirit, the Teacher Education Program gathered the graduates of batch 2025–2026 for a BLEPT Send-Off Ceremony, marking their final steps toward one of the most significant milestones in their journey to becoming professional teachers. The ceremony served not only as a send-off, but also as a reminder of the purpose behind the examination: to answer the call to teach and embrace the responsibility that comes with it.

Beyond the essence of sending them well wishes is an unwavering expression of support for this remarkable batch. The years they have spent within the institution have been marked by challenges, growth, and countless moments that have shaped who they are today. To witness their journey, from once-doubting students to individuals now standing at the threshold of becoming professional teachers, is a privilege in itself.

As the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) draws near, the Teacher Education Program of St. Mary's College of Tagum, Inc., holds Send-Off Ceremony to the aspiring Marian educators who will take the examination this coming September 20, 2026, at the St. Joseph Hall, September 10.

This ceremony serves to commemorate the years they have devoted to the academe, honor their perseverance, and wish them success as they take this significant step in their professional journey.

Teacher Education Researchers from St. Mary’s College of Tagum, Inc. have earned recognition as Best Oral Presenter (College Category) during the DURUWANGAN: Research Congress 2026, last August 31, at Historical Tagum City Theater. The award celebrates their successful presentation and highlights the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, research, and meaningful contributions to the field of education.

The ground-breaking research, titled “𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬: 𝐀 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬,” explores how gendered perspectives are expressed in online discussions of sexual harassment news.

The study was conducted by Lilia Mae Librea, Mark John Ramos, James Daniel Art Alia, and Jerry Jariolne, under the guidance of their adviser, Dr. Ryan A. Jancinal, LPT.

Their achievement serves as an inspiration to fellow students and researchers to pursue scholarly work that promotes awareness, critical thinking, and social understanding.
