Layunin ng nasabing inisyatiba na magbigay ng mas maayos na pasilidad para sa mga mag-aaral, upang higit nilang maipamalas ang kanilang talento sa larangan ng palakasan.

Ang matagumpay na paglalagay ng basketball ring ay hindi lamang isang pisikal na imprastruktura, kundi isang simbolo ng pagkakaisa at malasakit ng pamahalaan at komunidad para sa kinabukasan ng mga kabataan ng Pagsabangan Elementary School.
Lubos na nagpapasalamat ang pamunuan ng Pagsabangan Elementary School sa LGU at PTA sa kanilang walang sawang suporta, na muling nagpatunay ng pagkakaisa ng pamahalaan at komunidad para sa kapakanan ng mga kabataan.

DepEd Aral Summer Program: Summer Big Brother for Literacy and Numeracy

On May 14, 2026, the Department of Education, in collaboration with the City Government of Tagum (LGU), proudly launched the Aral Summer Program under the citywide initiative Summer Big Brother, a project designed to strengthen literacy and numeracy skills among incoming Kindergarten and Grade 1 learners.

Among the ten pilot schools selected for this pioneering effort is Pagsabangan Elementary School, a testament to its commitment to quality education and community partnership. This recognition highlights the school’s role in shaping young minds and ensuring that every child is equipped with the foundational skills needed for lifelong learning.

The Summer Big Brother Program for Literacy and Numeracy also provides food assistance and school supplies to Kinder and Grade 1 ARAL Summer learners, ensuring that children are not only academically supported but also motivated and equipped for learning throughout the program.

Through the united efforts of DepEd, the LGU, and the dedicated educators of Pagsabangan Elementary School, the program embodies the spirit of bayanihan, working hand in hand to uplift children’s futures. The initiative not only addresses learning gaps but also fosters confidence, readiness, and joy in education, paving the way for brighter opportunities for the youth of Tagum City.

‎Ang tagumpay ng isang bata ay nagmumula sa pagkakaisa ng buong komunidad. Sa pamamagitan ng isang nagkakaisang layunin ang pamunuan ng Pagsabangan Elementary School sa pangunguna nina Dr. Renato O. Mag-aso, Punong G**o at G. Richard Bautista, Pangulo ng SPTA, katuwang ang mga g**o ay nagpapaabot ng taos-pusong pasasalamat sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Barangay Pasabangan sa pamumuno ni Kap. Teresita S Agatep at sa Organisasyong FATAPIA.

‎Ang programang ito ay hindi lamang naging daan tungo sa karunungan, kundi naging simbolo ng malasakit at bayanihan. Dahil sa suportang pinansyal at materyal na nabigyan ng higit na diin ang kahalagahan ng edukasyon. Ang inyong kabutihan ay magsisilbing binhi na magbubunga ng matatag at matalinong kabataan sa susunod na henerasyon.

On May 8, 2026, student leader Jessiah Marizz Felix from Pagsabangan Elementary School was officially elected as the Regional Federated Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Vice President during the Leadership Camp 2026 held at Eden Nature Park. This achievement marks a significant milestone in advancing student representation and leadership across the region. Her election reflects the commitment of young learners to active participation in governance and the strengthening of student voices in educational initiatives.

Salute to Ma’am Eden M. Hormachuelos for her outstanding dedication and guidance as Teacher Adviser. Her remarkable effort has been instrumental in nurturing student leadership and success.

𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙇 𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙈𝙀𝙍 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙂𝙍𝘼𝙈 2026 𝙊𝙁𝙁𝙄𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙔 𝙇𝘼𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙃𝙀𝘿 𝘼𝙏 𝙋𝘼𝙂𝙎𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙉𝙂𝘼𝙉 𝙀𝙇𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙍𝙔 𝙎𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙇

In support of the Department of Education’s initiatives to strengthen literacy and numeracy, Pagsabangan Elementary School officially launched its 2026 ARAL Summer Program on May 6, 2026 . The program aligns with national efforts to address learning gaps and enhance reading proficiency and foundational math skills among learners.

Spearheaded by School Principal II, Dr. Renato Mag-aso in coordination with PSDS, Dr. Nila Digal, the program caters from Kinder to Grade 6 tutees through structured and engaging learning interventions.

The launching was held at the Pagsabangan Elementary School Gym and was attended by SPTA President, Mr. Richard Bautista, School In-Charge of TCNHS-Pagsabangan Extension School, Sir Reymark Maglasang, ARAL Summer learners, parents, and tutors.

The program will run until June 2, 2026, focusing on reading and mathematics activities to further develop learners’ confidence, comprehension, and problem-solving skills.
