The “Catch Me, I’m Falling” Rainwater Catchment Project is a collaborative initiative of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), Ronnie L. Ong, and the Asuncion Water District (AWD) under the leadership of GM Engr. Felixberto Neri, MPA that aims to promote water conservation and strengthen water security in communities through rainwater harvesting. The project addresses the growing challenges of water scarcity, climate change, and the need for sustainable water sources by installing rainwater catchment systems that can be used for domestic, educational, and agricultural purposes. The initiative aligns with MinDA’s advocacy of sustainable water resource management and climate resilience in Mindanao.

As one of the project’s recipients, Buclad Elementary School will benefit from a rainwater catchment system that will provide an alternative and reliable water source for school operations, sanitation, handwashing, gardening, and other educational activities. The project is expected to improve the school’s access to water, promote proper hygiene among learners and teachers, and instill the value of environmental stewardship through responsible water conservation. Through this partnership, the project demonstrates the commitment of government agencies, local water utilities, and community partners to creating sustainable and resilient learning environments for future generations. The opening of School Year 2026–2027 marks another exciting journey of learning, growth, and success here at Buclad Elementary School!

With joyful hearts, our dedicated teachers, staff, and our beloved principal, Mrs. Eufemia V. Saga, warmly welcomes all our dear students and supportive parents.

We proudly celebrated another milestone in Buclad Elementary School as we honored the hard work, resilience, and achievements of our graduates.
