‎To commemorate the life, legacy, and sacrifices of 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 "𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆" 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿., today, August 21, 2026, has been declared a special non-working holiday. ‎

Adhering to Republic Act No. 9256, there shall be NO office work and classes today; operations will resume on August 24, 2026 (Monday).

‎As we honor Ninoy Aquino's death and sacrifices, may we uphold the courage to speak up and fight unitedly for our nation's freedom, democracy, and patriotism.

Congratulations to 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗮 for emerging as the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭 in the departmental screening and for qualifying as one of the students to represent the University of Mindanao - Tagum College in the upcoming 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 competition!

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | DAE Screening for the Philippine Statistics Quiz 2026

The Department of Accounting Education conducted its departmental screening for the 30th Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) last Monday, August 17, 2026, via Google Meet. The screening aimed to select students who would advance to the initial screening for the three University of Mindanao - Tagum College representatives.

The Philippine Statistics Quiz (PSQ) is an annual nationwide competition aimed at evaluating statistical knowledge of freshmen at colleges and universities across all 18 regions in the country. This event showcases students' competency and skills in statistical activities.

Out of all 8 takers, 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐚 𝐀𝐠𝐛𝐨 and 𝐁𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐚 won the initial screening within the department and became the representatives for the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
