On March 27โ28, 2026, the TDCI Psychology students participated in the Mental Health Summit, LAWIG 2026. This gathering highlighted the important role of psychology in understanding our diverse communities and promoting collective well-being. It served as a space where students, educators, professionals, and community leaders came together to exchange ideas, reflect on lived experiences, and explore how psychological knowledge can be rooted in local culture and realities.
Through dialogue, collaboration, and cultural appreciation, LAWIG 2026 reminded us that well-being is not only an individual journey but also a shared responsibility shaped by community, history, and identity. By weaving together research, tradition, and advocacy, we strengthen our commitment to building more inclusive, compassionate, and resilient communities across Mindanao.
