𝐀 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭.

From March 9 to 13, 2026, the halls of Queen of Apostles College Seminary will become more than just a place of study.

During these days, the seminarians of Discipleship Year 4, Batch Exodus, will face an important milestone in their seminary journey: the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦. Beyond being an academic requirement, it truly reflects the years of formation that have shaped both their minds and hearts.

This Philosophical Comprehensive Exam authentically reveals character—how one responds to pressure, fatigue, and the call to persevere. In the days leading up to the exams, preparation fills their routine through late nights of study, quiet moments in the library, and the encouragement shared among brothers.

These sacrifices mirror the deeper spirit of seminary formation. The seminary seeks not only knowledgeable students but men whose intentions are purified and whose commitment is strengthened through discipline. Thus, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒈𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒕𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇.

Yet beyond study and sacrifice, humility remains essential, reminding seminarians that success does not rely on intellect alone but also on trust in God. Through prayer, every effort becomes an offering placed in His hands.

Indeed, the examinations symbolize more than a test of memory or intellect; they mark a formative step in shaping men of discipline, perseverance, humility, and faith.

Today marks the beginning of the 3-Day Theological Comprehensive Examination for our Discipleship Year 3 - Batch Leviticus seminarians.
After years of classes, readings, reflections, and formation, they now enter an important moment of their academic formation—bringing together everything they have studied in their theology courses and allowing it to shape not only their minds, but their hearts.

Please keep them in your prayers as they take this significant step in their journey of formation.

May the Holy Spirit grant them clarity, peace, and confidence in the truths they have come to know and love.
