Milestones of Excellence: NFES Celebrates 67th Graduation, 17th Moving Up, and 70th Recognition Rites 2026
โNueva Fuerza Elementary School (NFES) officially concluded the School Year 2025-2026 with a series of triumphant year-end ceremonies. Guided by the theme "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character," the school honored the academic journey and personal growth of its diverse learners.
โThe 67th Graduation Rites: A New Milestone
โOn March 30, 2026, the campus beamed with pride as the Grade 6 learners celebrated their 67th Graduation Rites. This ceremony marks a significant turning point as the graduates prepare to enter secondary education.
โThe NFES community extends its deepest gratitude to Sir Neil Michael A. De Asis, ASDS, who served as the representative of Maโam Alona C. Uy, SDS. Sir De Asis officially confirmed the Graduates of Batch 2026, validating their years of hard work.
โThe event featured an inspiring message from the guest speaker, Mrs. Cheryl G. Tubillara. In her address, she reminded the graduates that while life has its ups and downs, they must continue to strive harder to achieve their dreams.
โThe 17th Moving Up Ceremony: Little Steps, Big Dreams
โThe morning of March 30 also celebrated the 17th Moving Up Ceremony for the school's beloved Kindergarten learners. Sir Harley C. Aglosolos, EPS-English led the confirmation of the Kindergarten completers for SY 2025-2026. These young learners showcased their readiness to move forward into the primary grades, supported by their proud parents and teachers.
โThe 70th Recognition Day: Celebrating Skills and Traits
Following the graduation festivities, March 31, 2026, marked the 70th Recognition Day. This ceremony focused on the achievements of learners from SNED (Special Needs Education) to Grade 5.
The school awarded these students for their exceptional skills and positive traits demonstrated throughout the school year. This event highlights the school's commitment to inclusive education, ensuring that the unique progress of every learner is recognized and celebrated with dignity.

2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming Strengthens Community Support at Nueva Fuerza Elementary School
Nueva Fuerza Elementary School successfully held its 2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming on March 21, 2026, at the NFES Gymnasium, bringing together generations of alumni, educators, and stakeholders in a celebration of unity, gratitude, and shared commitment to education.
The event was spearheaded by Alumni President, Hon. Wellie B. Arcayna, Barangay Captain. The gathering was graced by the presence of the schoolโs present and former school heads, current and previous teachers, proud alumni, SPTA officials, barangay officials, non-teaching personnel and Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Maria Elena C. Ferido.
The homecoming commenced with a solemn Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Tonton Llanera, setting a reflective and thankful tone for the day. This was followed by a lively motorcade that showcased the strong spirit and pride of the Nueva Fuerza community. A short program ensued, highlighting messages of inspiration and solidarity, and culminated with a festive live band performance that energized the participants.
In his message, Hon. Arcayna reaffirmed the commitment of the School Alumni Association to continuously support the schoolโs programs and projects, with particular emphasis on the proposed fencing of the school perimeterโan initiative aimed at enhancing safety and security for learners and personnel.
Meanwhile, Dr. Renato O. Mag-aso, School Principal II, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Alumni Association officers and members for their invaluable efforts in making the event a resounding success. He emphasized the importance of collective support in advancing the schoolโs mission, underscoring the belief that โit takes a village to educate a child.โ

Year-End SPTA Assembly Held at Nueva Fuerza Elementary School Gymnasium
Nueva Fuerza, Tagum City โ The School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) of Nueva Fuerza Elementary School and La Filipina National High SchoolโNueva Fuerza Campus successfully conducted its Year-End SPTA Assembly on March 13, 2026 at the NFES Gymnasium, bringing together parents, teachers, and community stakeholders to celebrate the accomplishments and collaborative efforts throughout the school year.
The assembly was presided over by SPTA President Julito Y. Tumulak who appreciated the parents and stakeholders for their unwavering support to the school and its various programs and activities.
One of the highlights of the event was the giving of Plaques of Appreciation to the dedicated SPTA officials in recognition of their voluntary services and invaluable contributions to the school community. The plaques were presented by Dr. Renato O. Mag-aso, School Principal II, who commended the officers for their commitment and active participation in strengthening the partnership between the school and the community.
The event was also graced by barangay officials led by Hon. Wellie B. Arcayna, Barangay Captain, who expressed his continued support for the school and its educational endeavors. Their presence highlighted the strong collaboration between the school and the local government in promoting the welfare and development of learners.
The Year-End SPTA Assembly served as an opportunity to recognize the contributions of parents and stakeholders, strengthen school-community partnerships, and reaffirm the shared commitment of everyone involved in nurturing the future of the learners.
