PANAGTIGOM 2026 of the St. Mary’s College of Tagum Nursing Department became a meaningful reminder that our journey as future nurses is not only built through lessons, clinical experiences, and sleepless nights, but also through the connections we create along the way.

This event brought student nurses together who shares the same dream-to serve with compassion, lead with purpose, and become an instruments of healing.

The student nurses and clinical instructors of St. Mary’s College of Tagum, Inc. Nursing Program proudly joined the parade and participated in the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (IACM) 2026 last May 14, 2026. Together, we stood in remembrance of the lives lost to HIV/AIDS, while continuing to spread awareness, compassion, and hope for those living with the disease.

As future healthcare professionals, we believe that education, empathy, and unity are powerful tools in fighting stigma and discrimination. Every candle lit symbolizes a life remembered, a story honored, and a commitment to continue the advocacy for HIV awareness and support.
