As part of their learning experience, the First Year Medical Laboratory Science students attended the Orientation on Health Services and Programs at the City Health Office. The activity provided valuable insights into the various health programs and services available in the community, helping students better understand the importance of public health in promoting community well-being.

May this experience broaden their knowledge and strengthen their commitment as future Medical Laboratory Scientists in serving the community.💉✨

Today, the 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 successfully attended their orientation for their Immersion Duty at the City Health Office as part of the requirements for the course, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. This orientation provided them with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of their upcoming duties and the important role of community health services in promoting the well-being of the public. ✨

May this experience serve as a meaningful learning journey as they apply their knowledge beyond the classroom and develop a deeper appreciation for serving the community through the field of Medical Laboratory Science. 🧑‍🔬💫

CELLS Turnover Ceremony 2026

Leadership is not measured by the title one holds, but by the impact one makes and the foundation one leaves for those who come after.

On May 30, 2026, CELLS held its Turnover Ceremony, a meaningful event that honored our outgoing officers for their dedication, service, and invaluable contributions to the organization. Through their commitment and leadership, they have helped strengthen CELLS and leave behind a legacy that will continue to guide those who will carry the torch in the years ahead. As they formally passed the baton of leadership and responsibility to a new set of officers, we celebrated not only their accomplishments but also the lasting impact they have made on the organization and its members.

As we welcome our newly elected officers, we also embrace a new chapter filled with purpose, collaboration, and growth. More than a ceremonial transition, the event fostered camaraderie, teamwork, and meaningful connections through games and team-building activities that brought members closer together. With the guidance of those who came before and the enthusiasm of those stepping forward, may this new leadership continue to uphold the values and vision of CELLS as we work together toward greater achievements in the years ahead.

It is with great pride that we recognize our 𝙈𝙇𝙎 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙣, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙖, 𝙈𝙎𝙈𝙏, 𝙍𝙈𝙏, 𝙇𝙋𝙏, for successfully attending the 2026 𝙋𝘼𝙎𝙈𝙀𝙏𝙃 𝙈𝙞𝙙𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 held last May 6–8, 2026 at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, Philippines.

Organized by the Philippine Association of Schools of Medical Technology and Public Health (PASMETH), the convention gathered educators, administrators, and healthcare professionals from various institutions nationwide to promote collaboration, academic excellence, and innovation in Medical Laboratory Science education. PASMETH continues to uphold its mission of advancing the highest standards in Medical Technology and Public Health education in the country.

The convention featured academic discussions, professional development sessions, and collaborative engagements focused on strengthening leadership, ethical practice, and global competence among Medical Laboratory Science educators and practitioners.
