Sa Bukirin ng Pagkain, Gutom ang Nagtatanim
โ
โ
โ
โIto ay hindi simpleng suliranin. Isa itong malinaw na anyo ng kawalang-hustisya.
โ
โ
โ
โ
โ
โ

There are boots hitting the pavement, engines humming to life, and hands steady at work long before the day is seen. There are stories in every calloused palm, silent sacrifices in every hour unseen, and strength in every task carried without applause.
This is a day shaped by effort, carved by resilience, and held together by those who keep moving even when no one is watching.
Today, we honor the early mornings, the long shifts, and the unseen sacrifices woven into everyday work. It is both a remembrance of struggles once fought for dignity and fair labor, and a celebration of how far those efforts have carried us.
๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐ is more than just a day off. It is a pause to remember the hands that build, the minds that strive, and the hearts that endure.
So we remember and we celebrate.

Hello, May
You feel like a quiet beginning. Not loud, not rushingโฆ just there, waiting for me to notice you.
April felt long. There were days that went by too fast, and nights that stayed a little too quiet. I kept a lot of things to myself. Thoughts I couldnโt explain, feelings I didnโt know how to show. Some days I was okay, some days I was just getting through.
And now youโre here.
I donโt expect everything to suddenly change. I know life doesnโt work that way. But thereโs a small part of me that hopes youโll be a little lighter. A little softer. Maybe this time, I can breathe without feeling so heavy inside.
I want slow mornings where my mind is calm. Afternoons that donโt feel rushed. Nights where I can finally rest without overthinking everything. I want to find small moments that make me feel something good again, even if itโs just for a while.
Iโm still carrying things from before. I wonโt pretend Iโm not. But Iโm trying. Trying to move forward, even if itโs just one small step at a time.
So here I am, May. Not fully okay, but still here. Still hoping, even in quiet ways.
Please be gentle with me.

Happy Honesty (nasobraan) Day!
29/04/2026
๐๐ข๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฌ | Honesty isnโt always easy, but itโs always powerful.
It isnโt always loud or dramatic. Most of the time, it shows up in small, quiet moments that no one really notices.
Itโs when you admit you didnโt study instead of blaming something else. When you tell your friend how you truly feel instead of pretending youโre okay. When someone finds a lost wallet and chooses to return it, even if they need the money too. Even something as simple as saying โI was wrongโ takes a lot of courage.
Being honest can feel uncomfortable. Sometimes you worry about getting judged or disappointing others. But honesty builds trust in a way nothing else can. It shows people that you are real, and that they can believe in your words.
This Honesty Day, try to choose truth in the little things. You donโt have to be perfect, just be genuine

Envision Readers Club Brings the Magic of Reading to Communities via Project LETRA on Wheels
โ
โA collaborative literacy initiative recently brought stories, learning, and inspiration closer to children through Project LETRA on Wheels: Gulong ng Karunungan, spearheaded by the Tagum City Youth and Sports Development Office.
โ
โIn partnership with the Envision Readers Club of Tagum Doctors College, Inc., the Youth Service Philippines Tagum Chapter actively participated in the outreach, delivering interactive reading and storytelling sessions to young learners through engaging storytelling, fun learning activities, and interaction, volunteers help to create an environment where children could explore the value of literacy.
โ
โThe activity promotes love for reading, making education more accessible beyond the traditional classroom setting. Organizers emphasized that the program is more than just a reading activity by bringing books and learning resources directly to communities, Project LETRA on Wheels continues to bridge gaps in access to knowledge. The collaboration stands to its role for young leaders in community development.
โ
โAs partners in nation-building, Tagum's youth demonstrate that meaningful change begins with simple yet impactful actions-like sharing the joy of reading.

Who am I, without someone is looking?
โ
โThere are two versions of me, and they do not recognize each other.
โ
โOne exists in the presence of others, alive, articulate, almost luminous. She knows when to laugh, how to speak, how to take up just enough space to be remembered but not too much to be rejected. She is effortless in ways that feel practiced, a careful performance disguised as personality. In their eyes, she becomes real. Solid. Worth something.
โ
โBut when I am alone, she disappears.
โ
โAnd whatโs left is quieter. Heavier. Uncertain in its own skin. The words donโt come as easily, the laughter feels foreign, like it belongs to someone I only borrow. I sit with myself and feel like a stranger inhabiting my own body, like Iโve stepped out of a role and forgotten who I was supposed to be without it.
โ
โIt scares me, how different I become.
โ
โBecause it makes me wonder which one is true or if neither of them are. If I am only ever fragments shaped by circumstance, shifting depending on who is watching, who is listening, who might leave. And when there is no one left to witness me, I am faced with a version of myself that feels incomplete, like a draft that was never meant to be read.
โ
โMaybe thatโs the quiet tragedy of it all:
โI know how to exist for others.
โI just donโt know how to exist for myself.
