Aces Tagum College Inc ROTC UNIT

OOA 18 July 2025, the 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔) of 𝐀𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐈) Conducted the NSTP-ROTC Program Orientation for ATCI cadets and cadettes for the 1st semester of School Year 2025–2026 at the ATCI Gymnasium. The activity was led by 𝐓𝐬𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐨 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀, together with 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐁 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 (𝐑𝐄𝐒) 𝐏𝐀, the Coordinator of ATCI ROTCU and Tactical NCO and GMA. The orientation aimed to introduce the objectives, structure, and expectations of the ROTC program, setting the tone for the cadets’ leadership development and patriotic service.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || On 09 November 2024, the Aces Tagum College Inc. (ATCI) ROTC Unit conducted their 11th consecutive days Saturday formation facilitated by ROTC Training Staff, and the Advance ROTC Cadet Officer.

The ROTC cadets taught how to Disassemble and Assemble R4 assault rifle guided by

Sgt Rhodel T Dumpit (Art) PA,
Cpl Edgie C Cañete (Art) PA

The purpose of this training is to understand how to Assemble and Disassemble the R4 assault rifle helps them to become familiar with the inner workings of the rifle. This knowledge increases confidence, makes it easier to troubleshoot problems, and improves their overall handling and care of the weapon.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || On 050900 October 2024, The ACES Tagum College Incorporated ROTC Unit, led by Cpl Jerry S Cape Jr (Inf) PA, Chief Clerk of ATCI ROTCU And Tactical NCO's, conducted a prelim examination to (151) ROTC cadets at ATCI Gymnasium, Mankilam, Tagum City. Following this the Training Staff of ATCI ROTCU held a session on proper bearing and facing. The activity ended at 1200H the same day.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || On 28 September 2024, the Aces Tagum College Inc. (ATCI) ROTC Unit conducted their six consecutive days Saturday formation facilitated by ROTC Training Staff, and the Advance ROTC Cadet Officer.

The ROTC cadets taught to learn manual of arms guided by the ATCI ROTCU, Training Staff and Advance ROTC Cadet Officer. A manual of arms was an instruction book for handling and using weapons in formation, whether in the field or on parade.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | On 23 September 2024, The Aces Tagum College Inc. ROTC Unit participated as Color Officers during the 29th Founding Anniversary and Kaamulan Festival at the FV Academic Building, Aces Tagum College Inc., Mankilam.

The Chief Clerk of ATCI ROTCU CPL JERRY S CAPE (INF) PA served as military personnel for the two (2) M16 rifles, showcasing the unit’s dedication to service and enhancing the celebration’s significance, while fostering pride and unity within the college community.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | On 21 SEPTEMBER 2024 at Sitio Cabugagan, Busaon, Tagum City.

The Aces Tagum College ROTC Unit joined in the Coastal Clean-Up and Mangrove Planting Activity organized by Aces Tagum College, Inc. together with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO).

The ROTC Coordinator and the NSTP Coordinator, with the Training Staff of ATCI ROTC Unit participated in helping with the event. And the intention was to amplify environmental understanding, defend coastal ecosystems, and enhance community contributions to conservation projects.

This initiative aims to unite students, faculty, and community members in safeguarding our natural resources for a cleaner and greener future.

The Davao Del Norte ROTC Supervisor pays a courtesy call to Aces Tagum College Administrator.

On September 13, 2024, COL JULITO P GARAY MI (GSC) PA, ROTC Supervisor in Davao del Norte, together with the ROTC Training Committee, paid a courtesy call and visit to Mr. Alfonso R. Ventures, MSIS, Aces Tagum College, College Administrator. The purpose of this courtesy call was to reestablish the bond between the military and the educational institution, to update on the NSTP-ROTC programs, and, most importantly, to show appreciation for the school's continuous support of the ROTC program.

This project is a continuation of the efforts made to foster partnerships aimed at producing more effective collaborations in terms of ROTC activities and community support programs.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | On 17 August 2024, the Aces Tagum College Inc. (ATCI) ROTC Unit conducted their first formation and orientation, facilitated by ROTC Coordinator Miss Darlyn Dela Cruz, ROTC Training Staff, and the Advance ROTC Cadet Officer. The event, held at the college, served to introduce new ROTC cadets to the ROTC program, outline key rules and procedures, build camaraderie, and prepare them for the training ahead.

The ROTC cadets received the new ROTC Commandant CPT MONITT C ANDRINO (ART) PA, the training staff from 2nd Field Artillery "First Round Accuracy" Battalion, AAR, PA, Sgt Cesar Ian L Guanzon (MI) PA, and Pvt Acenelito D Addatu (INF) PA, with the aim of igniting their passion and drive. The speech focused on instilling a sense of purpose and dedication, reinforcing the values of discipline and teamwork, and encouraging the cadets to embrace the challenges of their training with determination and resilience. The goal of this engagement was to establish high standards and inspire the cadets to pursue excellence.

The orientation and keynote address collectively set a positive tone for the cadets’ training experience, highlighting the significance of their role and preparing them for future challenges with confidence and resolve.
