Today, the entire Ignacian Marian Community, together with the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM) family, joyfully celebrates the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Assumption reminds us of the beautiful truth that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary was taken body and soul into the glory of Heaven. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches in CCC 974, Mary already shares in the glory of her Son’s Resurrection, becoming a sign of hope and an anticipation of the resurrection promised to all Christians.

Mary’s Assumption invites us to look beyond the things of this world and to fix our hearts on Christ, our ultimate hope. Her life of faith, humility, obedience, and loving service continues to inspire us to say our own faithful “yes” to God.

As an Ignacian Marian Community, may we continue to walk with Mary toward Jesus, trusting in God’s love, serving with compassion, and remaining faithful to the mission entrusted to us.

𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 2026 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 ❤️

The First Friday of every month is dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, a devotion that reminds us of Christ's immeasurable love for humanity. His Sacred Heart symbolizes the love with which He gave Himself completely for our salvation, inviting each of us to respond with faith, repentance, and a life rooted in charity.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church beautifully teaches:

Jesus knew and loved us each and all during His life, His agony, and His Passion, and gave Himself up for each one of us: 'The Son of God... loved me and gave Himself for me.' He has loved us all with a human heart.(CCC 478)

This devotion calls us to contemplate that Heart which was pierced on the Cross—a Heart overflowing with mercy, forgiveness, and unfailing compassion. Through participation in the Holy Mass, reception of the Holy Eucharist, Eucharistic Adoration, personal prayer, and living with the Christian values we unite ourselves more deeply with the Heart of Christ and allow His love to transform our own.

As we observe this First Friday, may we entrust our families, our entire Ignacian Marian community, and our personal intentions to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. May His Sacred Heart teach us to love generously, forgive sincerely, and serve others with humility, becoming living witnesses of His Gospel.

Prayer
O sweet Jesus, we place our trust in You. Kindle within us the fire of Your divine love and shape our hearts according to Yours. Grant us the grace to remain faithful in every trial, compassionate toward those in need, and steadfast in following Your will. May Your Sacred Heart be our refuge, our strength, and our hope. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Every First Wednesday of the month, the faithful gather in prayerful devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, entrusting to her maternal care their prayers, hopes, and intentions. This cherished monthly devotion reminds us that Mary continually walks with us on our journey of faith, always leading us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

As Ignacian Marians, our devotion to Mary is more than a cherished tradition—it is a way of life. By reflecting on her humility, steadfast faith, and complete trust in God's will, we are inspired to live out our vocation with hearts rooted in Faith, Excellence, and Service. Just as Mary wholeheartedly embraced God's call, may we also become instruments of His love, mercy, and peace in our families, school, and communities.

On this First Wednesday, let us renew our trust in the loving intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. May she strengthen us in times of trial, fill our hearts with hope, and continually guide us to Christ, our true source of strength and everlasting help.

Prayer:

Loving Father, we thank You for the gift of Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, our Mother and faithful guide. As we celebrate this First Wednesday devotion, grant us the grace to imitate her faith, humility, and loving obedience to Your will. Through her maternal intercession, strengthen us to become joyful witnesses of Christ and faithful Ignacian Marians. This we ask in Jesus' name with the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Venerable Ignacia del Espíritu Santo, and all the angels and saints. Amen.

Faith shines brightest when young hearts choose to live it with joy, purpose, and devotion. The Ignacian-Marian Youth Ministry (IMYM) continues to be a vibrant community of young disciples committed to deepening their relationship with Christ while embodying the Ignacian-Marian values of Faith, Excellence, and Service. Through their dedicated service in the school's liturgical celebrations, together with a life of prayer, fellowship, and active ministry, IMYM forms a generation of faithful servant-leaders who courageously answer God's call and become living witnesses of His love in the Church, the school, and the wider community.

The Catechetical Apostolate Club (CAC) remains steadfast in its mission of proclaiming the Gospel for the school year 2026-2027 by forming catechists who teach not only with knowledge but also through the witness of their lives. Rooted in the Ignacian-Marian values of Faith, Excellence, and Service, the club is dedicated to nurturing Christian faith, accompanying learners in their spiritual journey, and inspiring hearts to know, love, and follow Christ through the ministry of catechesis.

𝙏𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙮-17𝙩𝙝 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙊𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚

𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬 13:47–53
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a big fishing net, let down into the sea, in which every kind of fish has been caught.

When the net is full, it is dragged ashore. Then they sit down and gather the good fish into buckets, but throw the bad away. That is how it will be at the end of time; the angels will go out to separate the wicked from the just, and to throw the wicked into the blazing furnace, where they will weep and gnash their teeth.

Jesus asked, “Have you understood all these things?”

“Yes,” they answered.

So he said to them,

“Therefore, every teacher of the law, who becomes a disciple of the kingdom of heaven, is like a householder, who can produce from his store things both new and old.”

When Jesus had finished these parables, he left that place.

Reflections:
To share the message of salvation with everyone.
In this Gospel, Jesus illustrates the kingdom of heaven with the image of a dragnet cast into the sea. The net catches all sorts of fish indiscriminately, representing the diverse nature of humanity within the kingdom. This parable highlights the inclusive aspect of the kingdom of heaven, where everyone is welcomed regardless of their current state.

However, it also emphasizes the importance of following God and embracing what is good, as the final separation will be based on one's actions and beliefs. As members of the Church, we are called to be like the net, welcoming all who seek to know God. We avoid judging or discriminating and instead strive to share the message of salvation with everyone.We pray for the grace to discern God's will and make the right choices every day.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,

You are the Divine Potter who lovingly shapes our lives according to Your perfect will. Mold our hearts to become faithful disciples who choose what is good, welcome others with love, and live according to Your truth. Grant us the wisdom to discern Your will each day and the courage to remain faithful until the end.

This we ask in Jesus' name we pray, with the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu Santo, and all the Angels and Saints. Amen.

𝙒𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙮- 𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙩. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙚

John 20:1-2, 11-18

Now, on the first day after the Sabbath, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone blocking the tomb had been moved away. She ran to Peter, and the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and she said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb and we don't know where they have laid him."

Mary stood weeping outside the tomb; and as she wept, she bent down to look inside. She saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been, one at the head, and the other at the feet. They said, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She answered, "Because they have taken my Lord and I don't know where they have put him."

As she said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not recognize him. Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?" She thought it was the gardener and answered him, "Sir, if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and take him away."

Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to him, "Rabboni!" (which means Master). Jesus said to her, "Do not touch me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them: I am ascending to my Father, who is your Father, to my God, who is your God."

So Mary of Magdala went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord, and this is what he said to me."

Reflections: Everything starts and ends with God's goodness.

When Pope Francis elevated the memorial of St. Mary Magdalene to a feast, it symbolized the enduring role of women in the work of salvation. Mary Magdalene understood the Resurrection and became an "apostle to the Apostles" by proclaiming the Good News to the disciples.

Her life reminds us that our own stories, despite their struggles, are part of God's greater plan of salvation. Ultimately, everything begins and ends with God's goodness.- Bible Diary 2026, Claretian Publishing Group

Prayer:Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the witness of St. Mary Magdalene, whose love for Jesus led her to seek Him faithfully and joyfully proclaim His Resurrection. Open our hearts to recognize Your presence even in moments of sorrow and uncertainty. Grant us the courage to seek You each day and to become faithful witnesses of Your love and hope to others.

𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬 12:1–8

At that time, Jesus was walking through the wheat fields on a Sabbath. His disciples were hungry; and they began to pick some heads of wheat, to crush and to eat the grain. When the Pharisees noticed this, they said to Jesus,

“Look at your disciples! They are doing what is prohibited on the Sabbath!”

Jesus answered,

“Have you not read what David did, when he and his men were hungry? He went into the House of God, and they ate the bread offered to God, though neither he nor his men had the right to eat it, but only the priests. And have you not read in the law, how, on the Sabbath, the priests in the temple desecrate the Sabbath, yet they are not guilty?

I tell you, there is greater than the temple here. If you really knew the meaning of the words: ‘It is mercy I want, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.

Besides, the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”

Reflections: The Gospel reaffirms God's compassionate response to the adversities faced by every believer. Regardless of our backgrounds, status, or history, what truly matters in the eyes of God is our openness to His mercy working in our lives. God desires for us to know and experience His mercy in every aspect of our lives, which motivates us to communicate this mercy to our brothers and sisters as well.

Prayer: Heavenly Father,

Thank You for hearing every prayer and seeing every tear, In moments of fear, uncertainty, and weakness, remind me that You are always near, ready to strengthen and restore me according to Your perfect will. Lord Jesus, teach me to value mercy over mere outward actions. Help me to treat others with compassion, kindness, and understanding, reflecting the love You have shown me. May my heart remain open to Your grace so that I may become an instrument of Your mercy to everyone I meet. Grant me the courage to trust in You each day, to be grateful for the gift of life, and to faithfully follow Your will. I place all my worries, my loved ones, and my future into Your loving hands. "𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙚, all you who are weary and burdened, and 𝙄 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart; and you will find rest. For my yoke is easy; and my burden is light."

Reflections: Have you ever felt tired, lonely, or hopeless? At times, life's burdens can become so heavy that we wonder where to find the strength to keep going. Yet today, the Gospel offers us a comforting invitation from Jesus:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

These words remind us that we are never meant to carry our burdens alone. When life becomes overwhelming, Jesus invites us into His loving presence—a place of peace, renewal, and hope. He assures us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light because He walks beside us every step of the way.

This Gospel brings to mind the beautiful song "Safe." Have you ever listened to it? Its lyrics remind us that no matter how difficult life becomes, we are always safe in God's loving embrace. When we entrust our fears, pain, and uncertainties to Him, we discover the rest, strength, and peace that only Christ can give.

As we reflect on today's Gospel, let us ask ourselves: What burden have I been carrying on my own? Am I willing to place it in the hands of Jesus? May we remember that we are never alone. Christ is always near, ready to lift our weary hearts and lead us toward the peace that only He can provide.

Prayer: Lord Jesus,
You know the burdens I carry, the worries that weigh on my heart, and the struggles I often hide. Thank You for inviting me to come to You and find true rest. Teach me to trust in Your gentle and humble heart, to surrender my fears, and to walk with You each day. May Your strength sustain me, Your peace calm me, and Your love guide me always. Amen.
