Engr. Juland Dave Alviso, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from UMTC, continues to make his mark in the field of broadcasting and telecommunications. Graduating in 2018, he now works as a Broadcast Engineer at Cignal TV, Inc., where he is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the Calinan-Davao Earth Station/Headend Station.

His role involves ensuring that broadcast systems and operations run smoothly and reliably. Through his work, he shows how Electronics Engineering extends beyond the classroom and into industries that keep information and communication moving.
His journey reminds us that success is not only about reaching the destination, but also about making the most of every step along the way. As he shared:

โ€œEnjoy the journey while studying with H.A.R.D. (Honesty, Aim, Reason, Dedication).โ€

May his words remind us, as ECE students, to enjoy the learning process, stay dedicated to our goals, and continue working hard as we build our own paths toward the future.

Engr. Alviso is a testament that the journey may be challenging, but with honesty, purpose, reason, and dedication, we can go further than we imagine. โšก๐Ÿ“ก

A new academic year begins with new faces, new connections, and new places to discover. On August 12, 2026, AECES joined the Department of Engineering Education in welcoming students through a morning filled with introductions, activities, and a campus tour.

From getting to know the DEE faculty and student organizations to exploring the campus, the event gave students a chance to become more familiar with the community they are now part of.

As an organization within DEE, AECES is proud to be part of these moments that bring Electronics Engineering students closer together. May this campus tour be the beginning of a meaningful and exciting journey ahead.

Welcome to a new academic year, ECE! Let's keep the connection strong. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ“ก

A new academic year means new faces, new connections, and new experiences. This Monday, August 10, 2026, the ECE community came together at UM-Tagum College for Abre-Klase 2026, officially welcoming the start of another exciting academic year.

From showcasing creative and innovative ECE project displays to meeting fellow Electronics Engineering students, the event was filled with energy, excitement, and meaningful connections. The ECE booth became a space where students could interact, explore, and enjoy the day together, with mystery giveaways adding even more excitement to the celebration.

More than just an opening event, Abre-Klase 2026 gave us a chance to reconnect, welcome new faces, and strengthen the bond within the ECE family. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก

As the new academic year begins, may we continue to connect, create, and grow together as future Electronics Engineers.

The signal is clear. A new chapter has begun. ๐Ÿ“กโšก
