Together with Engr. Welfredo Velez Jr., 6 Electronics Engineering students from UMTC traveled to Cebu City for their Educational Tour. The tour aims to provide the students with meaningful opportunities to visit various institutions and establishments relevant to their future profession, allowing them to explore different areas of the field, gain valuable knowledge, and be exposed to real-world industry practices and professional environments.
Through this experience, the students are expected to broaden their perspectives and develop a deeper understanding of the opportunities and responsibilities that await them as future Electronics Engineers. ๐ท๐ปโโ๏ธ

โInternship chapter unlocked! On July 3, 2026 marked a major milestone for the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program as they were officially sent off to their internships held at AVR 1, UM-Mabini Campus. The room radiates undeniable sense of pride as faculty, peers, and families gathered to celebrate the dedication that brought these students to the starting line of their careers. The ceremony was a powerful reminder of how far these students have come, transitioning from years of intense classroom learning and demanding projects and laboratory work into the professional field and workforce.

We proudly congratulate the 22 newly licensed amateur radio operators from UMTC-HEARS (10 Class C, and 12 Class D). This achievement reflects their dedication, discipline, and commitment to mastering the principles and responsibilities of amateur radio communication. Their accomplishment marks an important milestone, not only in their personal journeys but also in strengthening the community of skilled and responsible radio operators.
