Today’s Flag Raising Ceremony was made more meaningful as we highlighted the celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, honoring the rich cultures, traditions, and identities of our Indigenous communities.

The celebration gave every tribe the opportunity to proudly introduce, represent, and recognize their heritage, reminding us that every culture has a story worth knowing, respecting, and celebrating.

Let us continue to embrace diversity, preserve our cultural heritage, and take pride in the traditions that make our community beautifully unique. 💚

This August 17, 2026, Laureta National High School joins the celebration of International Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2026, honoring the rich culture, traditions, identity, and heritage of Indigenous Peoples worldwide. 🌿✨

This year’s celebration carries the theme “Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being,” recognizing the valuable knowledge, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous midwives in protecting and promoting the well-being of their communities.

As we celebrate, everyone is encouraged to participate by wearing traditional attire that represents their tribe and cultural heritage, while non-IP learners may wear appropriate IP-inspired outfits or accents as a gesture of support and appreciation. 💚

Last day, August 13, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), together with the Classroom Officers, Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), held a productive meeting to discuss important matters, strengthen collaboration, and foster unity among student leaders.

Together, we continue to lead with purpose, serve with commitment, and build a stronger Laureta community. 💙

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, ating binibigyang-halaga ang wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang bahagi ng ating kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa.

Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulong sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” sama-sama nating kilalanin ang mahalagang papel ng wika sa makabagong panahon at sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng kaalaman at teknolohiya.

Today’s highlight was the recognition of our outstanding athletes who proudly represented our school during the 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 last weekend, as well as our 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 who continue to show that being on time is a simple yet meaningful act of responsibility and commitment.

Today, the 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆), together with the 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐁𝐒𝐏) and 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐆𝐒𝐏), proudly represented Laureta National High School at the 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲.

The gathering brought young people together to listen, learn, share ideas, and actively participate in matters concerning the youth and the community. It also highlighted the importance of 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 in building trust and encouraging meaningful youth involvement.

Through the participation of the SSLG, BSP, and GSP, we continue to uphold the value of having young people who are informed, involved, and empowered to contribute to their school and community.
