From few of the AlphaQidz Masterminds:
AI will be part of our children’s world — whether we’re ready or not.
The question isn’t “How do we stop AI?”
It’s “How do we raise children who can think clearly with it?”
At AlphaQidz, we focus on foundations:
confidence with numbers, logic, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
Because the safest future isn’t one without AI.
It’s one with kids who can think for themselves.

Grateful for leaders who believe in strengthening Philippine education through science, technology, and principled innovation.
We had the privilege of sharing the AlphaQidz vision with Dr. Napoleon Juanillo Jr., of DOST, and QCSP friends who care deeply about building real cognitive foundations for the next generation.
AlphaQidz is not just another AI tool.
It is our attempt to build an AI-native Learning Operating System — structured for mastery, guided by parents, and aligned with national progress.
We move forward with humility, responsibility, and urgency.
The work continues, without much fanfare.

An AlphaQidz moment. Trying out a new avatar for AlphaQidz. Still learning, still building. 🙂

Responsible AI = fairness, safety , trustworthiness
Foundations set, done and ready.
We should also graduate from LLMs and move to examining AI Agents and Agentics.
At alphaqidz.tech, we use all of these AI tech to develop a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) model in order to deliver adaptive learning for each kid (no-to-one-size-fits-all-teaching), with human teachers in the feedback-loop, to provide just-in-time analytics for all stakeholders, e.g. the parents, teachers, admins, and potentially, to educ leaders of a country.

AI tutoring outperforms in-class active learning: an RCT introducing a novel research-based design in an authentic educational setting - Scientific Reports
Advances in generative artificial intelligence show great potential for improving education. Yet little is known about how this new technology should be used and how effective it can be compared to current best practices. Here we report a randomized, controlled trial measuring college students’ le...

Experts blame a compounding "learning gap" that begins early, warning that without urgent intervention, the nation faces a generational crisis in workforce readiness.
