With faith in the resurrection, the DLSU Tañada-Diokno School of Law conveys its deepest condolences to the family of Dean Jose Maria “Joey” Hofileña and to the Ateneo Law School community.

Dean Hofileña’s exemplary leadership and steadfast dedication to advancing legal education have had a profound impact on the profession. His legacy of integrity, scholarship, and service will continue to guide and inspire generations of lawyers and educators.

We stand in solidarity with our colleagues at Ateneo Law School as we honor his life and invaluable contributions to the legal community.

Severe Tropical Storm Crising, Typhoon Dante, and the Southwest Monsoon brought about heavy rainfall, causing unexpected heavy flooding in huge portions of Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon in the past days. It has adversely affected families/communities, damaged infrastructures, and hampered economic activities.

With this, we are knocking on the hearts of everyone for assistance (through cash donations) for our affected partner communities (18) from the NCR and Rizal, totalling to 1,898 affected families (or about 9,490 individuals). Your generosity can make a difference in the lives of those adversely affected by the flooding due to typhoons and monsoon rains.
