The "A Shoebox Filled with Hope" campaign is a shining example of the incredible spirit of generosity and compassion that resides within the MapleBear schools in the Philippines. This heartfelt initiative saw children from various MapleBear schools collectively raise an astounding 250,000 PHP in support of the Philippine Cancer Society, all in the spirit of Terry Fox.
The children, with their boundless energy and enthusiasm, created fund-raising shoeboxes, each one a symbol of hope and solidarity for those fighting cancer. Their commitment to making a positive impact, despite their young age, is truly inspiring. They not only raised funds but also helped raise awareness about the importance of supporting cancer research and those in need.
We could not be prouder of the children and the entire MapleBear community for their hard work and dedication. The success of this campaign is a testament to what can be achieved when we come together with a common goal and a shared sense of purpose. The campaign has shown that no matter how small we are, our collective efforts can make a big difference in the lives of others.
Thank you to every child, parent, teacher, and member of the MapleBear community who made this campaign a success. You’ve shown that even the smallest act of kindness can create ripples of hope and change. Together, you’ve filled many hearts with hope, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.
