In many countries like Korea and Japan, Valentine’s Day looks a little different. On February 14, women give chocolates or flowers to men, and a month later—on March 14 (White Day)—men return the gesture. It’s a simple tradition, but it quietly reminds us that roles don’t have to be fixed.

Sometimes, all it takes is someone willing to go first.

The same idea applies to public speaking. For so long, women were expected to stay quiet, concede, and hide in the background.

Not anymore...

Empowerment begins when women step forward, take the microphone, and share their voices with confidence. When one woman speaks up, she opens the door for many others to do the same.

Just like giving the first chocolate on Valentine’s Day, courage can start with a single gesture.
