Through interactive booths and specialized talks, Career Fair 2026 gave middle school and high school students the opportunity to explore different industries, career pathways, and future opportunities beyond the classroom.

Students attended sessions on Artificial Intelligence & Fintech, Health Sciences, Engineering, Law and Public Service, career mapping, resilience, and financial literacy, while also connecting with representatives from various colleges, universities, and education providers throughout the day.

Thank you to our education partners and sponsors — AUG Ph, Study Inn, AECC, Prestige Visa, Princeton Review PH, A-Prima, Enderun Colleges, Treston College, MINT College, AR College Recruit, IDP, HSBC, EducationUSA, and EduCanada through Mohawk College and SAIT — for helping make this year’s Career Fair a meaningful and engaging experience for our students.

From electric mobility and international security to entrepreneurship and fine jewelry design, upper school students heard firsthand from Everest alumni who are now making their mark in different industries during the Husky Career Talk: Alumni Edition, part of Career Fair 2026.

Centered on the theme “Careers of the Future: Discover the Jobs That Will Shape Tomorrow,” the session gave students the opportunity to hear honest reflections on college life, career paths, industry realities, and personal definitions of success from alumni who once walked the same halls as them.

The panel featured Matthew Cole ’19, a University of British Columbia graduate now working in electric mobility and product management at ACMobility; David Huang ’18, who earned his Bachelor’s in International Studies from American University and a Master’s in Security Studies from University College London and now works in policy research at the Stratbase Institute; and Sofia Yulo ’19, a jewelry designer trained at Ateneo de Manila and the Gemological Institute of America, and founder of Sofia Yulo Fine Jewelry.

Thank you to our alumni speakers for generously sharing your journeys, insights, and advice with our students as they begin exploring the paths ahead.

Microscopes, test tubes, and timed challenges were the focus during the Lab Skills Challenge of Upper School Academic Week.

Students from Middle and High School worked through a series of laboratory stations that tested their skills in separation techniques, microscopy and slide preparation, pH testing, and detecting biomolecules. Each task required accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration as teams raced to complete all stations within the allotted time.

The activity gave students the opportunity to apply scientific concepts in a hands-on laboratory setting while further developing their practical lab skills.

Students put their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to the test during the PASCO Workshop: Mystery Engineering Design Challenge held as part of Upper School Academic Week.

Working in mixed teams across Middle and High School, participants were tasked to design and construct an engineering solution based on a challenge revealed only during the workshop itself. Using PASCO equipment and provided materials, students brainstormed, tested, and refined their ideas while applying physics concepts and engineering principles in a hands-on and collaborative setting.

Thank you to all our participants!

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

On Tuesday, Merlee Jayme (founder of The Misfits Camp) used that simple question to teach our Grades 3–5 students a powerful lesson: just like ice cream, our different “flavors” of thinking are what make us special!

Merlee framed neurodivergence as a collection of unique gifts—a theme that came to life as she introduced neurodivergent author and illustrator Jaime Sumulong. After a special reading of Jaime’s book, our students led a heartfelt Q&A, showering him with gratitude and high-fives.

It was a beautiful reminder that when we celebrate our differences, we create a kinder, more empowered world.
