No one takes care of the family as well as our moms! The last school year has been more challenging for multi-tasking moms. But as the saying goes, when the going gets tough, the tough (moms) get going!
Salamat po sa lahat, nanay! ❤️

We cannot stop natural disasters but we can arm ourselves with knowledge: so many lives wouldn’t have to be lost if there was enough disaster preparedness.”
-Petra Nemcova
Our times had faced nature, its wonders, its beauty and its fatality. Earthquakes are one of nature's mighty forces. There had been earthquakes recorded decades ago. As technology and industry evolves, we also find ways to cope in times of disaster such as building earthquake resistant infrastructures.
Earthquake resistant structures are designed to prevent damage or a collapse of the building during an earthquake. It is made up of shear walls which are concrete walls with steel bars in them to reduce the rocking movement, cross-bracing to strengthens the walls using 2 diagonally intersecting steel beams, and a shock absorbers that absorbs tremors so that the top part of the building does not shake.
Grade 8 students, Naomi Maetel Ibe, Anne Margarette De Guzman, Jade Austin Rodriguez, and Aira Cortez spent time and effort designing an earthquake resistant building.
Additionally, Mikaela Joy Glino made a simple, concise and informative video about what to do before, during and after an earthquake.
Tune in and learn what simple things you can do that can save people's lives

Today is Ash Wednesday which marks the beginning of Lent. We are called to focus less on ourselves and reflect more about our Lord.
Luke 9:23-24
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.
God Bless us all.

Dear Ignatians and Guardians,
We would like to inform you that the school's primary internet connection (PLDT) is currently down. We are using a secondary internet connection (Cablelink), however we may still experience difficulty connecting due to limited bandwidth.
Your respective class advisers shall be in touch with you. Some subject teachers working from home will push through with their lessons, while the rest will provide a make-up class schedule.
We hope for your kind understanding.
