ATTENTION TO ALL PARENTS AND GUARDIAN

We are writing to you today to address a matter of critical importance regarding the safety and digital well-being of our students. It has come to our attention that usage of the online gaming platform ROBLOX, has been linked to concerning incidents involving minors, including a recent event at Ateneo de Zamboanga. In light of these developments, we find it necessary to issue a firm advisory regarding our students' digital activities.

We strongly urge all parents and guardians to exercise active, consistent and close supervision of their children whenever they are engaging with ROBLOX or similar online platforms. It is imperative that you are aware of who your children are interacting with, the content they are exposed to and the nature of the games they are playing.

If you are unable to provide the necessary level of supervision to ensure your childโ€™s safety, we strongly recommend that you delete the application from their devices. For students, particularly those in their younger and teenage years, whose online interactions cannot be strictly monitored, we are implementing a strict policy recommending the removal of this platform.

Our school is committed to fostering a safe environment for our students, both on and off-campus. We believe that digital safety is a shared responsibility and we ask for your full cooperation in protecting our children from potential online risks. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Kindly remember that your child's education and safety are your ultimate responsibility.
