A: Mama, why do we have mom and daughter dates?
N: So that when I’m not around anymore and you’re going through something hard, you’ll have these memories to hold on to and remember that I’m always with you.
A: Mama, you keep saying that as if you’re gonna die na 🙄

And as I type this I realize it’s me who will need these moments. Because one day, when she’s a teenager, she might not want them anymore. And I’ll be the one holding on to these memories ❤️‍🩹

As a financial planner, this tragic incident shows how important it is to handle debts wisely. It's sad to hear about someone losing their life over a money issue. This highlights the need for people to MANAGE THEIR DEBTS RESPONSIBLY, and find peaceful ways to resolve financial disagreements.

A man was brutally killed after trying to collect the debt a backhoe operator owes him in Sitio Suyok, Barangay Tandang Kutyo, Tanay, Rizal on Friday, April 12.

After taking a step back to reflect and recalibrate, I’m thrilled to be here again!

Thought I’d share a little minimalism journey update—Ooops, we’ve accumulated too much stuff in 2023.

My physical space has always been a reflection of my headspace… and yes, I have been 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴 finding my rhythm, managing a home, and figuring out how to take care of two kids with just the help of my husband.

Decluttering isn’t just about letting go of stuff; it’s my secret weapon to transform a monkey mind into a monk mind, that’s why I’m really excited to declutter and reclaim a room in our home that we’ve neglected over a year🧘🏽‍♀️

1st photo: This serene beach captures my idea of calm. It might not be “Instagram worthy”, hindi siya white sand, nothing fancy, just simple serenity. Like I get to flow with life’s waves. lol

2nd/3rd photos: Our humble study before giving birth to R. Every item served a purpose and sparked joy. ☻

4th photo: Here’s what’s in front of me right now—a photo of the present. Don’t get me wrong though, the clutter drives me crazy but I also realised how much I’ve poured my time to being a mom, creating joy with my little family, and embracing growth alongside my husband.

In the coming days, I’ll be sharing my transformative journey of minimalism, stories about mindfulness, intentional choices, and motherhood. Who knows, I might just make a lively return to social media ☻

Today was no longer a tug of war of wills.

Did it really take 8 years for me to fully accept that my child is her own person? 🥹

Today I fully supported Adrianna—she wanted to make her own costume for book character day, but I wanted things quick and easy but still look like my standard of perfect. Like reuse an old Harry Potter costume or an improv Matilda because we didn’t have time to prepare for her last minute decision (9pm day before the event) to show up as Greg Heffley from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

I was hinting that it was impossible to make, but I really just didn’t want to wake up at 4am to do it, so she insisted that she’d wake up earlier than usual and do it herself. And she did.

On the way to school I asked her what she thought of her creation.

“I’m happy and proud because I was patient and I did it all by myself.”

I asked her what she would do if she had the chance to do it again.

“I’d plan earlier and make it a day in advance.”

Ah. Parenting.

I’m still learning when to watch her from afar, when to intervene, and when to coach.

I’m learning that it’s not about control, but guiding and accepting that my 8-year-old is different from me, and she is her own self. 💖

We did it, anak. ☻
We went through extreme morning sickness, fatigue, and covid— but we did it!

I remember finishing my MBA years ago, I had just given birth to Adrianna. I presented my dissertation with her! My professors were kind enough to allow her to be there—and now we move to the next chapter, as a coach, but as Mama and wife first ☻

Wouldn’t have reached all my goals without genuine caring professors, coaches, my Suárez fam, and a very supportive husband. This is exactly what I wanted ♥ I’m glad I’m able to grow, still.

Here’s proof that motherhood is not a hindrance for women. ♥
