Today, we remember Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., not simply as a name in our history books, but as a Filipino who gave his life for his country and for the hope of a better Philippines. His courage and sacrifice remind us that loving our nation sometimes means standing for what we believe is right, even when the cost is great.

As we honor his memory, may we never take for granted the freedom and democracy that generations of Filipinos have fought to protect. May Ninoy’s life continue to inspire us to serve with sincerity, care for others, and do our part in building a nation worthy of the sacrifices made before us. We remember with gratitude, we honor with respect, and we carry his legacy forward.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131 issued by the Office of the President, classes at all levels in both public and private schools in Taguig City are suspended tomorrow, August 20, 2026.

All affected classes shall shift to modular or other alternative learning modalities.

Since government offices are already directed to adopt alternative work arrangements due to the risks posed by the weather, the City believes the same consideration for safety should also be extended to students, teachers, and school personnel by avoiding unnecessary travel and exposure to unsafe conditions.

The safety and well-being of every Taguigeño remain our priority.

Please be informed that, pursuant to 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟐𝟗 issued by the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, classes at all levels in both public and private schools are 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

This suspension covers 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 at Monlimar Development Academy.

In accordance with our 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬, classes will shift to the 𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐘 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋, wherein learning will be conducted through 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟏 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 will have 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 tomorrow despite the regular Wednesday no-class schedule.

Due to the prevailing Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), periods of moderate to heavy, at times intense rainfall are expected to continue affecting Metro Manila through Wednesday.

In view of these weather conditions, classes at all levels in both public and private schools in Taguig City shall be suspended tomorrow, August 18, 2026.

All affected classes shall shift to modular or other alternative learning modalities.

Residents are advised to continue monitoring official advisories from the City of Taguig and PAGASA and to take the necessary precautions.

To ensure the continuity of learning, all learners shall continue with asynchronous learning. Teachers will post lessons, learning tasks, and instructions through the school’s official online learning platforms.

Matapos ang ilang taon, muling magliliwanag ang entablado sa pagbabalik ng 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 na may temang, "𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐤 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐢: 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠", isang pagdiriwang ng ating mayamang pamana at natatanging talento na inihahandog ng Kagawaran ng Filipino at MAPEH.
