“𝙱𝚎𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚍 𝙿𝚊𝚐𝚎𝚜: 𝚂𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙵𝚞𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎 𝚃𝚑𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑 𝚁𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐,”

This year's theme reminds us that every book we pick up isn’t just words on paper—it’s a gateway to imagination, knowledge, and a brighter future!

On November 12, 2025, we officially kicked off our celebration with incredible energy and inspiration. Sir 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐨, English Department Coordinator, motivated us with a powerful reminder:

“𝐸𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑝𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑓𝑙𝑖𝑝 𝑖𝑠 𝑎 𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑝 𝑐𝑙𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑟 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒.”

Reading, he said, isn’t just homework—it’s a passport to new worlds, ideas, and endless possibilities.

Building on this inspiration, Assistant Principal Ma’am 𝐈𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞 M. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞, gave everyone a fun mission:

Our Master Teacher, Dr. 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥, shared how books have personally transformed her life—proof that reading truly shapes who we are.

We were also inspired by our Principal, Sir 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐨 , who showed that leadership is not only his craft but also a practice rooted in reading. A true leader is also a reader—someone who draws wisdom and vision from the pages of books to guide others.

To keep the excitement going, English Club Adviser, Ma’am 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐲𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧, introduced all the amazing reading activities lined up for the month.

To wrap up the kickoff, Master Teacher, Sir 𝐄𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧, reminded us that reading isn’t just personal growth—it’s a superpower capable of changing the world, and DepEd supports us in honing this skill to achieve even greater things.
