Malacañang has suspended work in government offices and classes at ALL LEVELS in the following areas on Friday, 26 September 2025 due to expected heavy rainfall brought by Severe Tropical Storm "Opong":

Metro Manila, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Samar, Masbate, Romblon and Sorsogon.

Meanwhile, classes are also suspended at ALL LEVELS in the following areas to ensure public safety:

Due to the expected impact of Tropical Cyclone Opong and the potential flooding in low-lying areas, classes in all levels in both public and private schools in the City of Taguig are suspended on Friday, September 26, 2025. This will also give constituents time to prepare for the expected impact of the weather disturbance.

All affected classes are advised to shift to modular learning.
