While the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal in Metro Manila, including the City of Taguig, has been downgraded to No. 1, the Orange Rainfall warning — which could cause intense rains and heavy flooding — remains hoisted.

Taguig’s local public weather service, TOWER, also forecasts stormy weather in the City tomorrow.

With these potential threats, the CITY OF TAGUIG is suspending CLASSES in ALL LEVELS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) on Friday, October 25, 2024.

Schools shall resort to alternative modes of learning in accordance with the policies of the Department of Education.

The suspension will also allow time for recovery and inspection of schools and facilities to ensure safety before resuming classes.

If the teacher opts to leave the school premises during vacant periods, the teacher shall register in the school logbook or accomplish a locator slip. They shall indicate the reason for going outside the school premises in relation to the performance of their ancillary tasks. Original copies or photocopies of these documents shall be attached to their DTR.
