Behind every smooth program were committees who worked quietly in the background. From long nights 🌙 to last-minute fixes, every effort was fueled by dedication and teamwork 🤍

Convergen-CE 2026 became possible because of hands that chose to serve and hearts that chose to commit.

Thank you to the committees of BSCE-4A for making it happen. 🫶💙

We sincerely thank 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐣𝐢𝐚, our distinguished guest speaker, for generously sharing his expertise in 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐬 during the seminar “𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧-𝐂𝐄: 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐩.”

His discussion highlighted the critical gap between 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, emphasizing that 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 play a vital role in how structures behave during earthquakes. The insights shared deepened our understanding that failures during seismic events are often caused by poor detailing rather than incorrect analysis, and that engineering judgment extends beyond what software alone can provide.

Thank you for inspiring our future Civil Engineers to design structures that yield but never collapse, and for being part of this meaningful and impactful learning experience.
