The UMak Scan to Pay is open to receive payment from the Academic Year 2024-2025 2nd semester enrollees starting today, January 6 until January 17, 2025; from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM only.

UMak Scan to Pay only accepts payments through GCash; please use the GCash app to complete your payment.

Payments made through PayMaya, online fund transfers, and other payment applications are NOT ACCEPTED.

With our goal to provide better services to the students, all the parties mutually agreed to the following matter in order for the recent student concerns to be addressed with the consideration of adhering to the university policies:

For BACK GATE:
1. Ingress system will not be changed. Students who wear/do not wear their complete uniform will enter in the same gate.

For FRONT GATES:
1. Students who fail to wear their complete uniform are required to:
1.1. Provide a printed copy of their Certificate of Registration (COR) or their University ID; and
1.2. Proceed to Gate 8 of the UMak Oval to enter the university.

2. Students who are wearing their complete uniform and have their ID/COR are required to:
2.1. Proceed to Gate 7 of the UMak Oval to enter the university.

Please note that the said gates will only be available from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM in the morning session, and 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the afternoon session. After the time given, all students will be entering the Gate 7 of the UMak Oval.

Also, we would like to reiterate that students who have their ID are no longer required to bring their COR, unless needed for academic purposes. Please be informed as well that the regular UMak uniform is already available at the UMak Coop as per the advise of VPSSCD. With this, compliance to complete uniform will be strictly implemented.

These will be implemented starting tomorrow, November 6, 2024. For widest dissemination and compliance.

Greetings Herons and Lady Herons!

In accordance with the Memorandum from the Office of the President | Malacañang, specifically Memorandum Circular No. 64, it is hereby stipulated that:

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 60 (s. 1992), which declares the last week of September each year as Family Week, and Proclamation No. 326 (s. 2012), which designates the fourth Monday of September as "Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga" Day, all government offices in the Executive branch will suspend work on September 23, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM.

Consequently, the University of Makati offices will remain operational until 3:00 PM, and classes will be suspended from 3:00 PM onwards.
