EMPOWERING SCHOOLS THROUGH STRONGER LEARNING RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
The Schools Division Office of Taguig City and Pateros successfully conducted the Capacity Building for Enhanced Learning Resource Management on December 10, 2025 at the SDO Conference Hall, bringing together School Learning Resource Coordinators and Teacher-Librarians for a day of enriched learning and professional growth.
Organized by the Learning Resource Management Section under Dr. Daisy L. Mataac and supported by the Curriculum Implementation Division Chief, Dr. Ellery G. Quintia, the activity reaffirmed the division’s strong commitment to elevating the quality, accessibility, and systematic management of learning resources across all schools.
The sessions were strengthened by respected experts: Joseph B. Son provided key insights on School Library Collection Management; Carl Edison Poblador presented practical strategies through his topics Navigating Learning Resources From Stress to Success and Strengthened Learning Resource Inventory; and invited speaker Ms. Evelyn B. Morante from SDO Pasig City shared valuable practices on Learning Resource Excellence, Processes, Pedagogical Impact, and the LRMDS Framework.
The one day activity deepened participants’ understanding of essential learning resource processes and inspired them to adopt more responsive, organized, and quality driven systems within their schools. With renewed dedication and enhanced competencies, learning resource coordinators and teacher-librarians are now better equipped to support teachers, strengthen instructional delivery, and ensure that every learner has access to relevant and effective materials.
The event stands as a testament to SDO TaPat’s continuing commitment to advance educational excellence and empower school communities through well managed learning resources.
