Advisory No. 006, Series of 2026–2027 | Postponement of the Online Process Orientation for Student Organizations

Please be informed that the scheduled Online Process Orientation for Student Organizations is POSTPONED due to the unstable internet connectivity being experienced by the participants, discussants, and organizers brought about by the inclement weather.

To ensure that everyone can fully participate and that the orientation can be conducted effectively, the new schedule and further details will be announced once conditions improve.

On behalf of Mayor Ate Nancy Binay, Councilor Tristan Pangilinan represented her at the launch of the LANDBANK Cash-Lite Campus Program held at the University of Makati on August 13, 2026.

The LANDBANK Cash-Lite Campus Program aims to make digital payments within the campus safer, faster, and more convenient for students, faculty, and the entire UMak community.

The initiative marks another step toward a more modern and cashless campus experience.

Also present at the event were LANDBANK Executive Vice President Ms. Marilou L. Villafranca; First Vice President of the South NCR Branches Group Mr. Manuel A. Dimalaluan; Engr. Roquito L. Cabras, Enterprise Development Coordinator of the LANDBANK Countryside Development Foundation, Inc.; Mr. Paul Christian C. Cortez, Head of the Digital Promotion and Utilization Department of LANDBANK; and representatives from the University of Makati, including Mr. Virgilio B. Tabbu of the Office of the Vice President for Student Services and Community Development and Ms. Katrisha Faye G. Pingol, Director of the Center for Student Organizations and Activities.

Join us for the Process Orientation for Student Organizations on August 19, 2026 (Wednesday). The program will feature discussions on important university processes, facilities, services, and guidelines relevant to student organizations, followed by an open forum.

We encourage all student organization officers and representatives to join the Google Meet before the program proper begins at 1:30 PM. Please be early to allow time for registration, attendance, and technical preparations so we can start the program promptly and maximize the time for all discussions.

Advisory No. 005, Series of 2026–2027 | Extension of the Submission Deadline for Organization and Council Accreditation Applications

Please be advised that the Center for Student Organizations and Activities (CSOA) has further extended the submission deadline for the Accreditation, Reaccreditation, and Reactivation of Student Organizations and Councils until August 20, 2026 (Thursday).

Organizations and councils are encouraged to complete and submit their applications within the extended period to allow sufficient time for processing and approval. This will help ensure the timely implementation of your planned programs and activities under your approved General Plan of Action (GPOA).

In support of the University's commitment to advancing financial inclusion and digital transformation, the University of Makati, through the Office of the Vice President for Student Services and Community Development (OVPSSCD) and the Center for Student Organizations and Activities (CSOA), will conduct the LANDBANK Campus Cash-Lite Program Launching Event on August 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the University of Makati Performing Arts Theater.

All student leaders and members of student organizations are required to attend the said program. Student organizations with the highest number of Account Opening referrals will also receive cash prizes. Attendance and participation will be strictly monitored.
