Poor Educational system in the Philippines
Base in an article one of the main factors contributing to the developing education challenges in the Philippines, even before COVID-19 struck and caused problems for millions of families, is the financial situation of the nation.
Because poverty is dominant in our country, when Covid-19 started both public and private schools had closed because of the policies that the government had implied, after almost a year of suspended classes the Department of Education started planning to initiate a virtual classes for the filipino students to continue their studies even in the middle of the pandemic. Furthermore, because of unfair access to education, more kids, teenagers, and adults are unable to catch up and fall behind, ever since online classes was implied a lot of filipino students had drop out of school because they doesn't have any access to attend their virtual classes.
A lot of concerned citizen are complaining regarding this issue, for the citizen they were calling out and asking the government to atleast give attention for those filipino teenagers, adult and even kids for them to be able to atleast learned and still catch up for school activities. This is when the Department of Education comes up with the idea of printing out modules and handing them out for all the students who aren't able or doesn't have the capacity to attend virtual classes, modules will be the way for them to continue their studies and finish the grade year that they're in.
This is why speaking out even though you are privilege enough is important, your opinion can change the way a poor system can be, it can fix a system and help a lot of people who are in need of attention or sympathy not just from us, their fellow Filipino but for the government to hear their cry for help.
