𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College announces that the implementation of Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangements and asynchronous classes shall remain in effect on August 20, 2026, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, s. 2026, issued by Malacañang upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), due to continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

To ensure the continuity of essential services, a skeletal workforce shall be maintained in each unit or office. Concerned personnel are advised to report onsite as designated by their respective heads, while other employees shall continue their functions under the WFH arrangement.

𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔 | Kaguruan ng Graduate School, pinarangalan sa UNIFFIED International Conference

Nagpakitang-gilas ang mga g**o ng Graduate School ng Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC)–Tagudin Campus matapos makamit ang ilang parangal sa UNIFFIED International Multidisciplinary Research Conference 2026 na ginanap noong Agosto 14–17, 2026 sa Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

Naging bahagi ng pandaigdigang kumperensya ang mga g**o at mananaliksik mula sa iba’t ibang bansa, kabilang ang United States of America. Nagsilbi itong pagkakataon para sa mga kalahok na maipresenta ang kanilang mga pag-aaral, makapagpalitan ng kaalaman, at makabuo ng ugnayan sa mga kapwa mananaliksik mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.

Sa HUMSS Strand, nakamit nina Dr. Femarie Capistrano, Dr. Delia Casilan, at Dr. Ranec Azarias ang 1st Place sa Best Abstract at 3rd Place sa Best Paper.

Samantala, nakakuha naman si Dr. Maureen Sta. Ana ng tatlong parangal para sa General Academic Strand—3rd Place sa Best Abstract, 3rd Place sa Best Presenter, at 2nd Place sa Best Paper.

Hindi rin nagpahuli ang pangkat ng STEM B Strand. Sina Dr. Jonalyn Lacambra, Dr. Jacqueline G. Gumallaoi, at Dr. George Villanueva ay nagkamit ng 1st Place sa Best Paper, na lalong nagbigay-diin sa kalidad ng mga pananaliksik na iniharap ng mga kinatawan ng Tagudin Campus.

Bukod sa mga parangal sa research presentation, kinilala rin ang ilang miyembro ng UNIFFIED Tagudin Chapter dahil sa kanilang aktibong paglilingkod at ambag sa organisasyon. Kabilang sa mga tumanggap ng Service Award sina Dr. Imelda N. Binay-An, Dr. Maria Denise Lou Aguilan, Dr. Gumallaoi, Dr. Sta. Ana, at Dr. Lacambra.

Pinangunahan naman ang delegasyon ng ISPSC ni SUC President Mario P. Obrero at Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension (VPRDE) Dr. Jocelyn Absolor, na kapwa tumanggap din ng mga pagkilala para sa kanilang paglilingkod at ambag sa pananaliksik at mga gawaing pang-akademiko.

Ipinakita ng mga nakamit ng Graduate School Faculty ang patuloy na kakayahan ng mga g**o at mananaliksik ng ISPSC sa larangan ng pananaliksik. Higit pa sa mga parangal, naging daan ang kanilang paglahok upang maibahagi ang kanilang mga pag-aaral at makipag-ugnayan sa mga mananaliksik mula sa iba’t ibang bansa.

Ang mga tagumpay na ito ay nagpapakita ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng ISPSC–Tagudin Campus na palakasin ang kultura ng pananaliksik at palawakin ang pakikilahok nito sa mga gawaing pang-akademiko sa antas pambansa at pandaigdigan.

In accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 129, s. 2026, issued by Malacañang upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), ISPSC - Tagudin Campus will continue the implementation of Work-from-Home arrangements and asynchronous classes tomorrow, August 19, 2026.

This measure is in response to the prevailing weather conditions brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

All concerned are advised to take note of this arrangement and make the necessary adjustments accordingly.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | To invoke God's guidance and blessings for the new academic year, the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College – Tagudin Campus celebrated a Holy Spirit Mass this morning, July 27, 2026, at the Tagudin Farmers' Civic Center (TFCC).

Following the Eucharistic Celebration, the General Orientation for New Students resumed, where first-year, returning students, and transferees were introduced to the student services, and other essential information as they begin their journey as ISPSCians.

The orientation is still ongoing as of this posting.
