We are excited to bring you the latest news and updates on our recent event that was held last April 22, 2023, at Sitio Alog, Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.
This year's Project PRAYS event was a huge success, with 18 young stars participating in a fun and educational pre-reading program. The goal of this event was to introduce reading to young children and help them develop a love for books and reading.
The event started with a warm welcome from the Project PRAYS team, followed by an introduction to the program. The young stars were then grouped according to their grade level and assigned a facilitator who guided them throughout the program.
The facilitators engaged the young stars in various pre-reading activities such as picture book reading, story-telling, and creative writing exercises. The young stars were also taught how to identify letters, sounds, and words through fun and interactive games.
One of the highlights of the event was the use of localized foldables reading materials. The materials were carefully made and selected by the Project PRAYS team to cater to the young stars' interests and reading levels.
The event ended with a closing ceremony, where the young stars were given certificates of participation and a token of appreciation for their active participation in the program.
