Nagpaalala ang DOLE na ang mga empleyado sa pribadong sektor na magtatrabaho sa Hunyo 6, regular holiday para sa Eid'l Adha, ay makakatanggap ng 200% ng kanilang arawang sahod para sa walong oras na trabaho.

Ayon sa DOLE, ang mga hindi papasok ay tatanggap pa rin ng buong sahod kung sila ay pumasok o naka-leave with pay sa araw bago ang holiday.

Idineklara ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa Proclamation No. 911 na regular holiday ang Hunyo 6, 2025, bilang paggunita sa Eid'l Adha. | BChannel NEWS

PRC Observes Eid’l Adha

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in the observance and celebration of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) on June 17, 2024 (Monday).

Along with this, PRC is temporarily suspending operations in all its Offices and Service Centers nationwide on the abovementioned date. Appointments set on the said date will be accommodated upon resumption of operations on June 18, 2024 (Tuesday).

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, continues to deliver world-class services to pilgrims.

Qualified teams serve pilgrims from arrival through the completion of their rituals, providing transportation, accommodation near the Holy Mosque, medical care, customized meals, and multilingual interpreters.

Cultural and religious activities include visits to the Holy Quran Exhibition and the Kiswa Factory of the Holy Kaaba.

This year’s program hosts 2,443 pilgrims from over 100 countries, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to serving Islam and Muslims with efficiency, organization, and human-centered care.

Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the program embodies the Kingdom’s values of hospitality and dedication to pilgrims visiting the Two Holy Mosques.

🌙🕋 The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has announced that the crescent moon of Dhul Hijjah has been sighted, officially marking the beginning of the Islamic month in which the annual Hajj pilgrimage takes place.

📅 According to the announcement:
• Hajj 1446 AH will begin on June 4, with pilgrims gathering in Mina.
• The Day of Arafah will be observed on June 5.
• Eid Al-Adha will fall on June 6 for Muslims across the Kingdom and the world.

The court had earlier urged citizens and residents to observe the sky on Tuesday evening (Dhu al-Qi’dah 29) and report any sightings.

In conjunction with the confirmation, the Saudi government has declared a weeklong Eid Al-Adha holiday for both the public and private sectors, enabling families to prepare and celebrate this significant occasion.

🕋 Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and must be performed once in a lifetime by all Muslims who are physically and financially able.

Welcome, O Blessed Month!

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Do good all the time, and seek to be recipients of the ‘outpouring’ of Allah’s mercy. Indeed, Allah showers down these (special) ‘outpourings’ of His mercy to whomsoever He wills from His slaves.” (Ṭabarānī)

Although Allah constantly showers His mercy, love and blessings upon us throughout the year, there are certain times of the year wherein He is even more Generous to us. These are the special seasons, days and moments in which it is even easier to acquire His pleasure, earn His forgiveness and be saved from the Hell-fire. The blessed month of Ramaḍān is one such season when we witness the fruits of Allah’s love and kindness.
