Panag-Uban 2026 Strengthens Unity in the Education Department where BPEd Program Takes Center Stage

โTAGOLOAN, MISAMIS ORIENTAL โ August 11, 2026 โ The College of Education of Tagoloan Community College (TCC) successfully conducted Panag-Uban 2026 at the TCC Covered Court, gathering faculty members, program heads, student leaders, and Education students in a meaningful celebration of unity, collaboration, and academic engagement.

โWith the theme centered on togetherness and shared purpose, the event served as a venue for strengthening the bond among the different programs under the College of Education. The program opened with an invocation, the singing of the national anthem and TCC hymn, followed by opening remarks from Jassen J. Baranggot, Governor of the College of Education.

โMessages of inspiration were delivered by Alyssa Jane B. Costillas, SSC President; Dr. Kharen Jane S. Ungab, OIC College President; and Dr. Merilyn A. Tangon, Vice President for Administration. Faculty members and student officers from the different Education programs were also formally introduced during the activity.
โ
โAfter the inspirational message the entrance of the officers from each program followed with their Program Heads. As the BPEd Premier officers together with Dr. Jo-Ann R. Hinosolango took the center stage, a loud chant was then presented by the proud BPEd students.

โAmong the participating programs, the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) stood out through its active participation and strong representation. Headed by Jo-Ann R. Hinosolango, EdD, BPEd Program Head, together with the BPEd Program Officers led by Angelo G. Dominding and BPEd RCY Officers led by Russell Rudy M. Laspuรฑa, the program showcased the energy, leadership, and teamwork that characterize the BPEd community.

โMr. Teresito T. Adajar Jr., MAEd, SBO Adviser of the College of Education, formally presented the newly elected SBO Officers headed by Governor Jassen J. Baranggot. Following the presentation, Dr. Frederick W. Gomez, PhD, Dean of the College of Education, took center stage to deliver an inspiring discussion on the Tagoloan Community College Vision, Mission, Philosophy, and Goals, emphasizing the institutionโs commitment to academic excellence, holistic development, and service-oriented leadership among future educators.

โOne of the highlights of the afternoon was the presentation of the BPEd officers, where the program confidently introduced its student leaders and emphasized its commitment to service, discipline, and excellence in physical education. The BPEd delegation demonstrated enthusiasm and unity throughout the event, earning recognition for their vibrant presence and active involvement in the various presentations and inter-program activities.

โThe program also featured presentations from the BEEd, Social Studies, Filipino, and English programs, as well as discussions on student services, UNIFAST, registrar concerns, admission procedures, and the grading system. These sessions provided students with important academic and institutional information while promoting greater awareness of college policies and services.

โAs the activity concluded with a Unity Dance and closing remarks, Panag-Uban 2026 successfully fostered camaraderie among future educators and reinforced the College of Educationโs mission of developing competent, collaborative, and service-oriented teachers.

โFor the BPEd Program, the event was more than just a departmental gatheringโit became a proud moment to highlight the programโs growing leadership, active student involvement, and unwavering commitment to building a stronger and more united College of Education community at Tagoloan Community College.
