Stakeholders' Day 2025
“When a school and its community move as one, every child’s future becomes brighter.”

Stakeholders’ Day is more than a celebration—it is a powerful reminder that education thrives through partnership. Today, our school opened its doors to honor the unwavering support of parents, teachers, local leaders, community partners, and every individual who continues to believe in our mission.

Through shared commitments, collaborative efforts, and a unified vision for quality education, we build learning spaces where children feel supported, inspired, and empowered to succeed.

As we recognize the contributions of our stakeholders, we also strengthen the bridge between the school and the community—ensuring that every learner receives the care, opportunity, and guidance they deserve. Together, we shape not only a better school, but a better future for all.

What a vibrant and joyful way to wrap up National Reading Month!

Today, November 28, we successfully conducted our Culminating Activity for National Reading Month 2025 with the theme “Reading, Connecting People Across Generations in Society.” One of the highlights of the celebration was the Colorful Literacy Fun Run 2025, which brought excitement and learning together in a meaningful way.

The event was graced by our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Lynneth R. Abrogueña, and made possible through the collaborative efforts of our School Principal, Dr. Hideliza T. Mercado, and Mrs. Joanna C. Roilo, School Reading Coordinator.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to the Barangay Council, under the leadership of Hon. Captain Jan Bagani N. Casiño, for deploying barangay tanods to ensure the safety of all participants.

A big salute to all the teachers and staff of Sta. Cruz Elementary School for their hard work and dedication in preparing for this event, ensuring that it was filled with both fun and learning.

To the parents, thank you for your active participation and support. Your presence and guidance made the activity even more meaningful for our learners.

Seeing our students and parents fully engaged in the Fun Run—stepping through letters, forming words, reading sentences, and completing each literacy challenge at every station—was truly inspiring. What a wonderful way to turn learning into a memorable adventure! Kudos to our dedicated teachers for creating such an interactive and enjoyable experience.

Let’s continue nurturing the love for reading—today and every day!

Sta. Cruz Elementary School successfully conducted a School-Based Symposium on Anti-Terrorism, Illegal Drugs, and Anti-Bullying Awareness spearheaded by the PNP 1st Misamis Oriental Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd Platoon).
