Manato ES Conducts Su***de Prevention Awareness Activity
In observance of Su***de Prevention Month, Manato Elementary School conducted a Su***de Prevention Awareness Activity after the flag-raising ceremony. The activity aimed to raise awareness among pupils about the importance of caring for their emotional well-being, showing kindness, and seeking help from trusted adults during difficult times.
The awareness discussion was facilitated by Mrs. Cathrine A. Japone, Guidance Designate, who shared age-appropriate reminders on recognizing emotions, talking about problems, and reaching out to trusted people whenever they need help and support.
A short Question-and-Answer portion followed the discussion, allowing the pupils to participate and demonstrate their understanding of the topics presented. Five pupils who actively participated and answered the questions correctly received bread pans as simple prizes.
The activity was organized by Mrs. Remelyn T. Olivario, Health Coordinator, and was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Luzviminda H. Bermas, Principal I.
Through this activity, Manato Elementary School continues to foster a caring and supportive environment where every pupil is reminded that their feelings matter, their voices deserve to be heard, and asking for help is always okay.
