🏫 Tunton Elementary School
Building a safer and more disaster-resilient school community is a shared responsibility. On January 29, 2026, Tunton Elementary School successfully conducted its Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Activity, aimed at strengthening preparedness, awareness, and response in times of emergencies. 🚨💪
The program formally opened with an Audio-Visual Presentation, followed by the Opening Remarks delivered by our dedicated School Principal I, Ms. Charlene P. Anda, who emphasized the importance of readiness and cooperation in disaster risk reduction.

The Statement of Purpose was clearly presented by Ms. Anna Sole Celiste M. Esperanzate, Teacher I and School DRRM Coordinator, highlighting the objectives of the activity and the role of the school and community in ensuring safety and preparedness.
A meaningful part of the program was the Turn-Over of Equipment, led by Mr. Niel A. Parco, LDRRMO I, together with Mr. Dominic Patrick C. Borlaza, Administrative Staff of PDRRMS, further enhancing the school’s disaster response capability.
Participants actively engaged in the Basic Life Support (BLS) and Standard First Aid (SFA) Orientation, facilitated by Mr. Dominic Patrick C. Borlaza, followed by a Demonstration on the Proper Use of Equipment conducted by Mr. Niel A. Parco and Mr. Borlaza.
The Acceptance Message and Signing of the Deed of Donation was delivered by Ms. Charlene P. Anda, expressing the school’s gratitude and commitment to properly utilize the donated equipment for the safety of learners and personnel.
Insightful Impressions were shared by Mr. Albert C. Escobar, DRRM School Head-in-Charge, and Hon. Ryan F. Geron, who both highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between the school, barangay, and local DRRM offices.
The Giving of Challenge by Mr. Niel A. Parco encouraged everyone to remain vigilant, proactive, and prepared, which was warmly accepted by Ms. Anna Sole Celiste M. Esperanzate on behalf of the school.
The program concluded with the Awarding of Certificates and the Closing Remarks of Ms. Helen C. Itable, Teacher I and Faculty President, leaving participants inspired and empowered.
