Today, we celebrate a remarkable milestone as Sir Rodolfo V. Dela Rosa Jr. marks 15 years of dedicated service since his first day in the teaching profession on August 1, 2011.

For a decade and a half, Sir Rod has been more than an educator—he has been a pillar of Kinatakutan National High School. Through his unwavering commitment, he has molded young minds, inspired generations of Kinatakutanians, and contributed immensely to the growth of our school community. 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐒𝐆𝐂) 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬

Kinatakutan National High School successfully conducted the Orientation, Organization, and Election of the School Governance Council (SGC), bringing together our valued stakeholders in support of shared governance and quality basic education.

The activity was attended by our Ex-Officio Members, together with representatives from the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA), Barangay Local Government Unit, Alumni Association, Senior High School learners, Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), People's Organizations (POs), Indigenous Peoples (IP) community, Religious Sector, LGBTQIA+ community and other community stakeholders.

Participants were oriented on the legal foundations, composition, roles, and responsibilities of the School Governance Council in accordance with Republic Act No. 9155 (Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001) and DepEd Order No. 026, s. 2022, emphasizing the vital role of stakeholder collaboration in achieving quality education.
