Nurturing Minds and Growing Futures: The San Isidro Elementary School Feeding Orientation

​San Isidro Elementary School recently demonstrated its deep commitment to student health and academic success by hosting a comprehensive School-Based Feeding Orientation at the SIES Covered Court. Led by Principal I Mrs. Liezel A. Dillo and School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) Focal Person Mr. Arvin J. Paylandy, the gathering brought together a dedicated community of teachers and parents of beneficiaries ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 6.
​The orientation served as a vital platform to discuss the essential role of proper nutrition in enhancing students' learning capacities and overall well-being. During the session, clear guidelines regarding the program's structure were outlined for the attendees. Primary beneficiaries of the initiative are specifically designated for learners identified as severely wasted and wasted, while secondary beneficiaries focus on students facing nutritional challenges such as stunted and severely stunted growth. To combat these concerns, eligible pupils are set to receive wholesome nutritious food products alongside a daily milk component to boost their physical growth and immune systems.
​A key highlight of the successful gathering was the active participation of the parents, who demonstrated their full support by successfully signing parental consent forms during the event. This crucial step formalizes the collaborative partnership between the families and the institution. With distribution officially scheduled to begin on August 10, 2026, the school community stands united in ensuring that every child is well-nourished, healthy, and fully equipped to thrive in their academic journey.

SELG CONDUCTS STATE OF THE LEARNER GOVERNMENT ADDRESS (SOLGA) FOR THE BEGINNING OF SCHOOL YEAR

SELG Unveils Proposed Projects for School Year 2026

In compliance with Division Memorandum No. 0487, s. 2026, entitled "Conduct of the State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA) for the Beginning of School Year," San Isidro Elementary School successfully conducted its State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA), highlighting the plans, programs, and initiatives of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) for School Year 2026–2027.

The program commenced with a solemn prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which fostered patriotism and unity among the participants. An energizer activity was then conducted to promote enthusiasm and active engagement among the learners.

The event officially opened with the inspiring remarks of Mrs. Liezel A. Dillo, School Principal, who emphasized the importance of student leadership in creating a positive and productive learning environment. She encouraged the SELG officers to lead by example and to continue serving as responsible and committed young leaders.

One of the highlights of the program was the presentation of the proposed projects of the SELG by SELG President Japeth G. Andal. He introduced the organization's key initiatives designed to strengthen leadership, environmental awareness, community involvement, and values formation among learners.

The proposed project includes:

1.Project FLAG (Fostering Leadership and Assembly Guidance)
2. "Project May Grocery sa Basura" (Plastic Free School Campaign)
3. Friday Clean Day -(Friday Clean -Up Drive)
4. Project LHARE (Leaders Helping And Reaching out to Everyone (Charity Drive Campaign,)
5.Project BLESS (Building Learners with Excellence, Spirituality, and Service)

These proposed projects reflect the SELG's commitment to developing responsible, disciplined, environmentally conscious, and values-oriented learners. Through these initiatives, the organization hopes to strengthen learner participation and contribute to the continuous improvement of San Isidro Elementary School.

The successful conduct of the SOLGA served as a platform for transparency, accountability, and collaboration, inspiring learners to actively participate in programs that promote leadership, service, and excellence throughout the school year.
