The Antimicrobial Stewardship Symposium was a truly meaningful step toward strengthening awareness on the responsible and rational use of antibiotics. With the call to action, “Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future.” 💊🌍 The event emphasized the urgent need to preserve the effectiveness of life-saving medications and prevent the rise of antimicrobial resistance.

Held last December 1, 2025, at the UB VDT-ALC Mini Theater, the symposium empowered students with essential knowledge on safeguarding public health. Through insightful discussions and real-world examples, attendees gained a deeper understanding of how proper antibiotic use can protect both current and future generations. 🧠✨

A huge thank you to our esteemed guest speaker, Clinical Pharmacist Ms. Clarisse Diangco, RPh, for generously sharing her expertise and guiding us toward building a more health-conscious and responsible community. Her valuable insights truly enriched the learning experience and inspired everyone to take part in promoting safer healthcare practices.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 106 issued by the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, classes at all levels in the University of Bohol are hereby suspended on November 10 and 11, 2025.

However, university offices shall remain open to ensure the continuity of essential operations and services.

Everyone is advised to stand by for further announcements regarding any updates or additional directives that may be issued by the national or local government.
